The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I’m back on Elden Ring finally. Got Margit to half health on my second try but I’m definitely underleveled for it (only 16). Time to explore.

I put hundreds of hours into 2 and bought 3 on launch but havent played yet (lol). Gonna get into it here soon. But its been patched up and everything now, I hear good things.
Can confirm. Think I ended up at 500+ hours in Warhammer 2 and am at 100+ in Warhammer 3. With the amount of different lords available, the replayability is essentially limitless.

Every weekend I say I’ll get into it, and I never do. Soon soon…

Like I said before. When I finally get to sit down and game at night I always have analysis paralysis and can’t decide what to play. Especially because the games I find most rewarding are generally more complex, difficult or time consuming.

Finally started Rune Factory 5 the other day to give myself a break from all the Persona 3 Portable grinding. The sheer amount of numbers that go up in this game is right up my alley. You can level up while walking and sleeping. It's brilliant.

Took the plunge and downloaded Cyberpunk, RDR2, and Vampire Survivors today because they were all on sale.

New Horizon: Forbidden West DLC drops tomorrow, and a remake of one of my all time favorite games, Advance Wars (and its fantastic sequel), drops on Friday.

It is a good week.

Getting assfucked in Elden Ring. Good shit.

I picked up Dredge over the weekend. I didn't know I needed an Eldritch fishing game in my life, but apparently I do. Great game so far.

This is another one I was looking at getting.

It's mostly a pretty chill game, although once night falls it can get a little tense. It gets very dark, and even with lights on top of your ship, you can't see very far ahead of you and it's easy to run into rocks.

I'm not super far yet, though. I've only made it to one of the additional areas that surround the starting area, and I'm sure I haven't even explored the starting area fully. The story unfolds slowly as you gain new upgrades and visit new places.

The art is simple but effectively gets the point across. The 2D art / character design looks great.

I'll probably check it out once it goes on sale this summer. If you're enjoying it, chances are I will too since I think we tend to have some shared tastes in games.

Dredge is cool to play late at night when you want to chill. The fishing mechanism is a bit too easy. Would have liked more of a challenge.

I finished Disco Elysium earlier today. Easily made it into my top ten all time. What a great fucking game. Kim Kitsuragi was a truly wonderful character, and one of the best video game sidekicks ever. I assume I got a relatively good ending. Solved the case, discovered a new species, recruited Kim to join Station 41, and helped a group of teenagers open up a drug lab in an abandoned church. Textbook superstar cop shit.
