We could put Naylor on the IL for the last few games and get up another bat just to help out in a sense. It's not going to hurt to do it now since the All-Star break will take up most of the days...

Though I don't know much about 19 year old Evelio Hernandez, based on his excellent 2022 numbers it seemed odd that he didn't come stateside to start 2023. Instead he pitched a few more times in the DSL this year, but he has finally arrived in Arizona and pitched quite well today in his ACL debut.
The 19 year old might have something. Don't know anything about his stuff, but the stats suggest a good feel for throwing strikes to me.
5.2IP 2H 0R/0ER 0BB 5K says he only threw 31 pitches. If correct he retired 17 batters on 31 pitches, that is less than 2 pitches per batter (1.8ish) and that includes 5 strikeouts! If that isn't an error, wow.

The construction of this roster is not ideal to me so it doesn’t really matter I guess. We will likely not replace Naylor with a similar bat. I don’t see any of Pries, Arias, Fry or Bell being “that guy”. For a club that struggles to score enough runs this is definitely not good.

I'm going to cheat...
The five switch hitters wending their way through the minor league system... Juan, Jaison, two Angels and Brayan, in reverse order... They are athletic.. possessors of superb baseball IQ, more than above average defenders w/ arms.. and can catch the ball where ever they're standing..
Edit: For clarity: Juan Brito, Jaison Chourio, Angel Genoa, Angel Martinez and Brayan Rocchio
The two pitchers that pique my interest are old standby, Daniel Espino (yes he's experiencing prospect fatigue at this point) and relatively new to the fray, Justin Campbell... Both can be/will be/should be front of the rotation stalwarts...
