The baseball gods just keep laughing at us putting Myles up AGAIN to end the game
I feel like this exact scenario has happened like 4-5 times in the last month and a half.
The baseball gods just keep laughing at us putting Myles up AGAIN to end the game
Imagine a Cats post that wasn’t condescending to other posters.Imagine having room for one starting MIF next year out of a half dozen candidates, and complaining that at least one of them is gonna have to learn another position.
Imagine needing a utility bat that has to be able to hit LHP, and complaining that the one who can't do it isnt getting a fair shake.
Imagine having a kid who is having a super career start, adequately playing four positions, including catcher...and doing exactly what we need offensively out of all those positions...and preferring to watch somebody else failing at it.
Fry is the better player, no matter what the pedigree...and produced at every level in his pro career.
I guess K rate doesn't count when it's David Fry
I'd say it's the other teams that are laughing, not the baseball gods. The baseball gods just keep laughing at us putting Myles up AGAIN to end the game
Condescending is what we do here, though. It's like a written rule.
Shocker but I 100% agree with Bimbo on fickle bullpens. And I love to rip on our bullpen failures but acknowledge they could easily regain their 2022 form at any time.Bullpens are always fickle.
2 of the guys everyone here wants to jettison as soon as possible were shoving against everyone and in the playoffs less than 10 months ago.
Sometimes patience is all you need. Not the answer people want to hear, but impatient front offices are bad front offices in this sport.
Thats OK.
Why isn't the Rays bullpen fickle when they seem to turn half of it over every year?Shocker but I 100% agree with Bimbo on fickle bullpens. And I love to rip on our bullpen failures but acknowledge they could easily regain their 2022 form at any time.

Also, in case anyone is curious.
We are pretty much a full run worse offensively in games that Gallagher starts, and that includes Zunino starts. We score 3.7 runs with him, 4.6 without him.
Friendly reminder our record when scoring 4 or more runs is 37-14. Under its 12-36.
Now get ready for 2 or 3 more Gallagher games this week.
Thats OK.
Use that clown face every time Arias strikes out and Fry delivers.
You will use it a lot...lol.
If you’d have told Tito/squad at peak low early May that they’d be mid/late July 2-3 back, would they have been underwhelmed?
