If it were that easy, what would Twins and Padres and others be doing this year? Yes, years ago, in hay day of cable and a locked in market of subscribers, yes. Now, with uncertainty of mlb and amazon going into streaming, the outlook of long term investment for a single team that could be swallowed by a giant without much leverage is hard to pitch for new $$$$. I said before, best way for mlb to go is to take over streaming for Guards, Twins, … and make a product worthy of other teams joining or to sell to Amazon/Google. Yet, mlb can still Fup these teams short-term by under bidding for the streaming rights.

We could make enough content if you would also stream stuff from Northeastern Ohio aka college and high school sports
But, you got to remember, the other 1/2 of our major programming was the Cavs. And, even though they only have this year remaining due to their agreement with Diamond, so are the other basketball teams. Thus, it just creates confusion until NBA figures out their next step (streaming all teams like MLB wants to do?). Potential investors to create all this content, hate confusion. They wait until dust settles unless they go big like Amazon streaming all NBA big.
Key thing from that story that I read is no in market streaming for the Guardians. Since I have Youtube TV that makes it impossible legally to stream the Guardians. Just ridiculous.

It sounds like the bottom line is - if you can get Bally's - then you can get the Guardians in 24.
You can always drop YouTube TV and get DirectStream or Hulu. They carry Bally's.
Yes I could. And I might, but I am just at a loss as to why this isn't offered and why we are denying this revenue stream.

Nope. And Ballys app can only stream Cavs, not Guardians. It's a rip.
