How to watch the Guardians on TV

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nope. And Ballys app can only stream Cavs, not Guardians. It's a rip.
Wtf. I've been able to stream Guardians on the Ballys app before. That's not allowed now? FFS

You can if you have a cable provider to authenticate with. You can't purchase ball sports plus and watch the guardians.
Correct. So with the Cavs, you can just purchase a Bally Sports+ sub and watch them, but with the Guards, you can't. Only through the cable provider. Total bull shit.

"We don't want the fans to know how much we are shorting these teams, your honor."

It's official. The judge approved the terms for the Bally's deal with the Guards.
So you can watch them in 2024 on Bally's, but then the deal expires,
No streaming in 24 either.

Boo. I love YouTubeTV and I’m not ditching it. Not interested in paying for FUBU just to watch some baseball. This shit sucks.

I still do MLB.tv and listen to the game live on phone... Then again, I will watch another game since my dad isn't a Ohio Native while listening to the Guardians game (Aka I'll have the Brewers, Twins, or Columbs AAA on and watch that while listening to Hamilton on the radio)

Yep, same. I'm in the same damn boat.

From a streaming blog to which I subscribe.
The sad state of baseball streaming: According to the Athletic, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred wants to offer a direct-to-consumer baseball streaming service with local games and no blackouts—in 2025. The league's intentions aren't exactly news, but the expected timing indicates another lost year for many baseball fans who want out of their bloated bundles.
Yes, there are some standalone options, which I've rounded up here, but the situation is a mess especially in Bally Sports markets, with some teams available via Bally Sports+, but others still tied to pricey pay TV packages. That's not changing now that Bally's no longer in danger of losing its broadcast rights to bankruptcy. I'm already used to saying "maybe next year" for my Yankees and Reds; might as well say it for sensible streaming options.

DBacks launching a $99/year subscription service, no blackouts, after being dropped by Diamond.

Will be a very interesting test market for mlb.

It makes it simple... I wonder if it's just the games and the pre game/post game or if they will add other things to their service...

So Friday morning math ... There are 11.8 million people in Ohio per US Census. Average household is 2.5 so about 4.7 million households in Ohio. If we divide up Ohio into 1/4 units for Northeastern Ohio blackout region its 1.2 million. Say 1.5 million to include some of Columbus too (if split Cinci/Cle). To get $100 per household, you would need 500,000 of 1.5 million houses to get to the est. $50 million or so we may get from Diamond.

Now, that is probably a made up number as with Peacock, bars are usually charged more to show games to multiple people. So, it will be interesting to see the rates that bars/households buy the Padres mlb package.

I just want non-blacked out games at an affordable price... I don't care if it's Amazon, Peacock, @Lee 's streaming services etc...Just make it simple for the fans...
