And just like last year we proved that Dwight is just an uber athletic rebounder.

Cavs dont care enough to put Mo or Jamison in, then I dont care

Delonte's last dunk was like an optical illusion.

I'm smiling after that game, can't wait to dust that team in the ECF.

Do we play LBJ in the last game? Do we want to go in the playoffs with a losing skid?

IMO, LeBron should have sat out two games before entering the playoffs. Against the Pacers and the Hawks.

If he played the other two games - Cavs beat the Bulls, higher chances of playing Toronto in the first round (therefore easier round), possibly (probably) beat the Magic, get the team's moral up.

"ZOMG REFS!" and "WTF NO CALL?" is the most retarded play-by-play ever. Your posts are adding nothing of value.

I do get carried away on posts like that. Maybe I need to step back on that.

The most important part of this game was that the Magic shot 1 made 3 pointer less than their average of 10 in this game and we only lose by 6.

I'm still not entirely sure why MB decided to not compete in the last 6 minutes of the 4th. I mean, I understand not playing LBJ (not at all for the season tho?), but seriously, we could've won this game. It'd have been an emotional high for the team to have beaten Orlando without LeBron..

Just can't understand why the bar was set so low.

OK, I've been on the whole "don't read much into these games because they don't count, and the team's not even at full strength" bandwagon, but I was legitimately frustrated with the 4th quarter of this game.

I have no problem with Brown sitting Mo and Jamison in the 4th, I get it. I was upset with the way the team played, mainly Delonte. The Cavs had a good chance to win this game before Delonte started turning the ball over left and right, and just forcing way too much. Even more upsetting was the fact that he was doing this while Bassy was on the floor with him. Bassy was the best point guard on the floor at that point. Bassy was coming off two very good games. If you aren't going to try to win, why not let Bassy run the point and see what he can do against a good team? Made no sense.

So what can we take from this game? Our B-squad is good enough to hang with Orlando's starters. We need SVG to play Carter big minutes against the Cavs. For whatever reason, Cleveland has his number (out of 4 games, he had 3 terrible ones. His only good game came in a loss).

Mo and Tawn = ready for playoffs

Jamario is better than Jawad. Sorry Jawad, it was fun while it lasted.

Man, Shaq looked skinny. Am I the only one who was thinking that?

LOL at Magic RealGM board. They are happy about the win, talking about their stellar play to close out the game and how they would've blown us out if they showed up early. How is this an accomplishment? Winning by 6 against a LeBronless Cavs is nothing! They barely outdid the Pacers for crying out loud!

Even this:
Statement Made (knock on wood)
:chuckles:

A statement was made alright, but not by the Magic.

Yeah, I'm in favor of LBJ getting out there a little bit against Atlanta too.

I just don't like the thought of having LBJ rest from game scenarios for almost 2 weeks by the time the playoffs start, and then on top of that having to reincorporate Shaq back into the mix too.

I don't want our first game or two against CHI/TOR to look like crap. Last thing you want to do to an 8th seed team is give them any hope or confidence in the 1st round.

No significant injuries.

Jamison and Mo kept under 30 minutes. Only players with heavy minutes were Howard (38) and Moon (39).

Jamison hit 3 of 4 FTs.

Moon continues to push ahead of Jawad for playoff minutes consideration.

Next time, the Cavs will have LeBron, Shaq and Parker. Looking forward to that even more now....

I don't see a reason to play LeBron much against Atlanta unless Shaq is out there. It would be good to see the whole lineup play together and get a little continuity. But honestly, the Cavs should be able to regain their continuity and work Shaq back into the lineup during the opening playoff rounds. They're a strong enough team to do both.

I'm not that happy like some posters here are. I think MB should have put JJ alone on Dwight, to see what he can do. And don't forget the Magic had a bad night on the three point line, 34% is not good when half of them are not contested, I'm afraid they'll make em in the playoffs. I would like to see Jamison and Mo in the end of the game, a win would really pump us up in a series with the Magic.
