Yeah, I'm in favor of LBJ getting out there a little bit against Atlanta too.

I just don't like the thought of having LBJ rest from game scenarios for almost 2 weeks by the time the playoffs start, and then on top of that having to reincorporate Shaq back into the mix too.

I don't want our first game or two against CHI/TOR to look like crap. Last thing you want to do to an 8th seed team is give them any hope or confidence in the 1st round.

I wouldn't be worried about whether Bron will be ready. That cat was born for this. It's the other 14 guys that I'm worried about... most especially Mo, Shaq and AP. Those are guys that need to establish themselves for a series. Bron's presence on the court alone is enough to establish him.

Also, regardless of rust issues, Bosh-less TOR and no-inside-presence CHI present absolutely no threat for us in a seven-game series. Worst case scenario is that the first round is required to integrate Shaq and get the starters clicking. Which is the perfect siituation, IMO.

We don't give a fuck about the bulls. The Magic ripped our hearts out last year and anytime we have to beat them we should. MB should have played Mo and Jamison in the fourth, if we won it would have given us a major boost.

But that's kind of the point... they didn't HAVE to beat them. This game meant nothing to the Cavs. I'm sure they WANTED to beat them, but they didn't HAVE to beat them.

We didn't HAVE to beat the Magic today. The Magic HAD to beat us to keep pace with the Lakers, but to say that we, the team who has clinched HC in the entire league, HAD to beat any team is ludicrous. We'll do our thing when the playoffs start. Everyone needs to chill.

That was a damn good game. Without Lebron, we almost beat the starters of one of the best teams in the NBA. If we would have played Mo and Jamison in the fourth, we would have won.

I was pretty impressed tbh.

Pietrus...

Sorry, I meant "anytime we have a chance to beat them we should"

Those back to back posts by Czvosec and theNorthCoastKid were eerily similar. Posted at the same exact time and even used the same style of capitalized emphasis :chuckles:

Dude can't make a mistake once in a while, it was a typo....whoever didn't realize that....

I can see a Cavs/Magic ECF going to seven games. The Cavs haven't figured out that double teaming Howard is pointless. Always play him one on one because he can't hit free throws and he throws up bricks around the rim. They kill the Cavs on threes, 16 point lead or not.

Uh yes they have, Shaq..

Anyways after this awesome performance tonight I find this hard to imagine. We didn't even play Mo and Tawn in the 4th for god sakes, we also didn't have the best player in the NBA or our center. We would have completely blown them out of the building if we actually played them. This shouldn't be a good win for the Magic, starting their front line against our scrubs.

-facepalm-

Also we didn't even have to win this game, it wouldn't have given us a huge boost. Its not like we aren't certain we can beat these guys, we know for a fact we can.

Dude. You've posted more than 100 times since the beginning of the game. Take a break.

Dude. No need for comment by you. The mods can do that nicely. Besides, for only having 100 posts yourself, you sure are mouthy. I see no big deal if a member wishes to post during a game. This is what the game thread is for.... I thought.

Anyway; I haven't read this thread much at all, but are members in here actually analyzing this game and tearing it apart? If so, that's some nutty stuff. The game was WORTHLESS guys/gals. I was pissed that Jamison and Mo played at all. Why the hell risk it for a meaningless game... TOTALLY meaningless. The Magic have to feel damn bad about this game. They barely beat a Cavs team with nothing to play for and the best player on the planet in street clothes laughing at them. How would you feel? :chuckles:

Hey Potato Head, nice way to kill Telfair's confidence and momentum.

TSO has been around since CMB, so even though he only has 100 posts, he's actually been around for several years now.

Cavs dont care enough to put Mo or Jamison in, then I dont care

We've got these guys. They won't be able to handle LeBron, Shaq and Tawn all at once. If Mo is hitting they're dead- dead.

That's how I felt, if you don't play LeBron don't play Mo or AJ. But, he played them and we were in a position to win so I felt that he should have played them in the 4th.....oh well I guess it doesn't matter.

I think it's a good idea to give Orlando a notion about what Tawn can do to them in a series. Just to let them know.

I though psychologically we came out ahead in this game. The Magicians were in our kitchen last season. That is not the case this time around.
