I can see a Cavs/Magic ECF going to seven games. The Cavs haven't figured out that double teaming Howard is pointless. Always play him one on one because he can't hit free throws and he throws up bricks around the rim. They kill the Cavs on threes, 16 point lead or not.

Yeah, I'm in favor of LBJ getting out there a little bit against Atlanta too.

I just don't like the thought of having LBJ rest from game scenarios for almost 2 weeks by the time the playoffs start, and then on top of that having to reincorporate Shaq back into the mix too.

I don't want our first game or two against CHI/TOR to look like crap. Last thing you want to do to an 8th seed team is give them any hope or confidence in the 1st round.

I agree, but there is absolutely no way Mike Brown risks it. If LeBron does play, great, but if he doesn't, he's still going to be the best player on the planet when the playoffs start.

Honestly I don't give a fuck that we didn't play Bron, Shaq or Parker..... what does slay me is the fact we lost our final reg season home game to the fucking MAGIC and they had to play all their main rotation players to do it.

Props to Mo, Antwan and Delonte for playing with some heart today. Facepalm @ MB playing Moon 39 fucking minutes for christ's sake.

I would've loved for LBJ to play today just to see him frustrate Dwight. Ehh, hopefully we meet up again in the ECF and shit on them boys.

All these analogies about resting by JVG were horrible.

Against the Bulls, some posters were begging to pull Jamison for fear of injury. Then he got injured (mildly it turned out), and the board was really upset at Mike Brown. I don't see how wanting to play him in the 4th today would have been any different. I'm glad he had a short night.

I really doubt the Cavs need to win a meaningless regular season against the Magic to gain confidence to win in the playoffs. The confidence boost will come when they announce the starting lineups and they have 5 regular-season starters back instead of the 2 that played tonight.

Well, when Shaq first came to Cleveland and did his press conference he basically told Mike Brown that there wasn't going to be any double teaming of Dwight Howard. If we meet the Magic in the ECF, we'll see if Shaq lives up to his word, and if we can finally put a stop to the damn shooters at the 3 point line.

So parker is an important part of our team now...

When we are playing a team with large perimeter shooters he serves a purpose. When we are playing a team that clogs the paint all game, especially with the best big man in the game, he serves a purpose.

Parker is just a role player, but he does serve a role. By including him I wasn't saying he was as important as LBJ or even Shaq. But we had to start Jawad and Moon because we rested Parker, which creates a big shift in how we play from tip-off.

im glad this win gave no psycological edge to the Magic

I like to do a play by play....if you have a problem, I could care less.

People tend to have a problem when your posts lack substance and you spam. You joined at the trade deadline and you're already set to pass several of our veteran members. Seriously, dude.

Jawad can be cut for all I care but Moon is way better than Parker against the Magic, he completely shut down Carter and even gave us 12 points shooting 2/5 from 3. Playing Moon more is better than playing AP when matched up with Orlando.

I post one liners......just to get shit off my chest. ie. ref bashing....

Ahh, the bipolar-ness of the fans. Beautifully captured by Mr. Wuck.

We don't give a fuck about the bulls. The Magic ripped our hearts out last year and anytime we have a chance to beat them we should. MB should have played Mo and Jamison in the fourth, if we won it would have given us a major boost.

I'm not that happy like some posters here are. I think MB should have put JJ alone on Dwight, to see what he can do.

Good point. I have no problems with Brown playing Mo and Tawn just three quarters. He got them some run, but they don't need to be playing the whole game.

I do agree JJ should have been left alone on Howard in the 4th. As Brown said himself, these games are just "high-level practices." So, why not experiment in that 4th quarter? Leave JJ alone on Howard, let Bassy run the point... hell, throw a zone at the Magic for a few possessions. It was obvious the Cavs weren't trying to win, so why not try some stuff out? How often do you get a chance to practice against the 2nd best team in the league?

And don't forget the Magic had a bad night on the three point line, 34% is not good when half of them are not contested, I'm afraid they'll make em in the playoffs. I would like to see Jamison and Mo in the end of the game, a win would really pump us up in a series with the Magic.

The Magic are averaging 37.5% from 3 this year. And when we play them in the playoffs, there will be MORE of them contested. Also, I'd bet the guys are pretty excited with only losing by 6 with all the facts in evidence.
