Zydrunas Ilgauskus has signed with Miami (post #127)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's just the way he's going about this. If he had put this much effort into recruiting for Cleveland, there may have been plenty of players who would have came to play for the Cavs. It's a questionmark because you'll never know, but he's obviously putting forth the effort now in Miami. I know they're still trying to build that team, but come on, look else where James. Just my opinion, considering he already tried to "recruit" Fisher away from us.

And according to a few reports, he was doing the same to recruit Bosh ... and Amar'e ... and Jamison ... and Shaq, all while a Cavalier.

It's not like Lebron didn't recruit people while in Cleveland, seriously .. Miami's just a nicer city with two other awesome players, the likes of which we didn't have.

Z was paid and paid well by the Cavs for 14 seasons. Z knows that LeBron going to the Heat really hurt the fans, but Z does not care he took less money to join LeQuitter. Z said f the fans. Z could have resigned with the Cavs or signed with another team, but he chose as ring over the fans. Z is dead to me, along with LeQuitter.

I am pretty sure LBJ has been recruiting harder in Miami than he has ever in Cle.....Bucher basically said so...and do you really think LBJ tried to get Bosh here?....at this point I dont believe it at all

Gotcha, you know better then I do as far as that's concerned. I have to give it up to Miami, they're building a real tough team out there. "Building", "Buying", "Cheating", whatever anyone wants to call it, it's getting done.

But, the Heat have a lot to lose, and I don't think people realize that through all the hype they've received. The pressure is on them, 1 loss will be magnified by 10, and rightfully so, they've built up their own hype, now it's time to make their beds if they can't truly live up to it. I'm not sure LeBron or Bosh have ever TRULY stared adversity in the face and overcame it...but they are now, especially LeBron. It's a testament to their attitude's, and why they're even with the Heat to begin with. Because maybe, just maybe, they didn't want that pressure. Well it's ironic, because the pressure is on them now more then ever to bring a chip to Miami. And lets be clear here, they are a dangerous team. You're not talking about two ball dominant all stars on the same squad, we're talking about 2 of the top 3 swing men in the entire league on the same team! It's a team on steroids as far as their backcourt is concerned. Now the front court is being overlooked I think because people are assuming Bosh is soft, but he fills their PF position perfectly and may actually play better as a third option without having to be the top guy every night. And now with Z, they get size to match up with Bosh' agility.

We'll see, I don't hate LeBron, I never have, I still don't. I think his actions were shameful but hey, most athlete's are dicks. And this is coming from a Laker fan whose dealt with Kobe's shit for a long time. Luckily he's won titles for this team, or else he would never hear the end of it.

Sorry for going a little off topic there.

Wow you guys forget how loyal Z was to us for so long.

Yes it hurts like salt in an open wound, but Z did everything the right way as a class act. He's made it clear for some time he wants to go ring chasing. He's earned it and deserves it.

So show some class and respect for Z, he's given us 14 years.

The only right decision Big Z could do in this situation. Cavs fucked him in the ass last year with that Jamison trade. Now its time to go ring hunting for real and he deserves it. He is tight with LeBron so its also great to see them join forces in Miami. Good luck for Big Z!

LOL! The guy gave his life for this organisation. He, if anyone, is entitled to do this move. I can´t believe I´m reading this kind of shit from the fans. Jesus Christ what hypocrites there are in this board!

Couldn't have said it better myself. The man gave us 14 years, stuck with us through the thick and the thin. He DESERVES a ring, unlike LeBron.

Z paid his dues here. He ain't winning no ring here this year, let him go try with the Heat. Anyone with a problem with Z signing with the Heat can straight up go fuck themselves.

Yeah, Z was a real class act. I'm sure he's a nice guy in person and all, but what a tool for ring-chasing his way to Miami a week after the grand fiasco. :thumbdown

I really don't believe that he tried to recruit any of them...

Z has been through it all with this franchise thick and thin. Now he is old and at the end of his career and just trying to get a ring. You can't even compare this to LeBron.

I have no problem with Z signing......he wants to win a ring and Miami is the best opportunity for him

1. The only Cavs jersey I have (other than an oversized cheap Carr one) is Z's. I thought buying that would be fool-proof because he's been so good to us. But now, I can't even root for him to get his long deserved ring.

2. If they do win it, there is the tiniest bit of good coming out of it.

3. Fuck L***** and Miami harder for this. I can't blame Z at his age but I can fucking blame LeBron all day and night.

I would love for a little bit of good news. I'll always have a fondness for Z but I really feel like I'm being kicked in the face this last week.
