Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.........
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.........
We all knew they were going to bring the corpse of Mike Napoli back. Looking forward to seeing him turn into a pumpkin again next postseason when we desperately need him.
Randomly searched Edwin Encarnacion on Twitter and a fan posted the Blue Jays 2017 calendar and EE wasn't in it. Might not mean anything because Joey Bats isn't on there.
Also, this could mean something for EE, per Chris Camello, the Dodgers are close to re-signing Justin Turner to a 3-year, $65M deal.
EE would probably want something similar to that.
He may want something similar to that, not sure he can get it though.
Turner has been a 4-5.5 win player the last two years at a premium defensive position.
If anything, that's not great news for EE.

Sorry, meant to say 4-years, $65M deal.
Don't think Turner ever had any interest in leaving the Dodgers.
Speaking of right-handed hitting first basemen ...
The good news for this trio is that at least three teams still are in the market — the Rangers, Indians and Rockies. And it stands to reason that Encarnacion’s continued availability could pique the interest of more.
The Orioles remain involved with Trumbo; they again would play him in right field. So, if Trumbo goes to the Orioles or Rockies, as expected, Encarnacion could land with the Rangers and Napoli with the Indians.
Barring, of course, a team that enters the mix seemingly out of nowhere, as the Rockies did with Ian Desmond.
Rangers GM Jon Daniels told reporters at the meetings that the signing of a major free agent such as Encarnacion is unlikely. The Rangers, after depleting their system with trades at the past two deadlines, surely do not want to lose the 29th pick in the draft for a 34-year-old slugger.
Still, the team has lost first baseman Mitch Moreland and outfielders Ian Desmond and Carlos Beltran since the end of last season. The internal options at first — Joey Gallo, Jurickson Profar and Ryan Rua — are intriguing, but not as intriguing as Encarnacion at the right price.

And here it is:

Wonder how that impacts Encarcion's numbers?
