2019-20 Cavaliers Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
As much I'd like this, I don't see it happening. Putting together a summer league like this without the newest draft class would make it that much more worthless. The NBA is trying to be as responsible as possible with the bubble they are putting together. The resources to put together another bubble for the 8 worse teams without the draw of the newly drafted class playing probably wouldn't make financial sense.

The bubble they are making in Orlando puts teams in quarantine twice. Once in their home city then again in Orlando. This is why it's starting July 31st.

With how careful they are being, I think they will play part of the 2020-2021 season in a bubble to start with. It might be 2 locations instead of one. They seem they want to start next season on time to make sure they can get the players to play in Tokyo for the Olympics. I think they know how much of an international marketing exposure the Olympics is for the NBA and it can set them back on track financial.
I think a "loser's bracket" camp would be very useful for the kids on the team. There would be fewer teams in the bubble. Heck, you could have a east coast and west coast bubble. Plus, you only need maybe 2-3 weeks. That's much shorter than the Disneyworld playoffs.

I don't understand, why Sexton's playing style is called being selfish. I've seen him try to get others involved but they just won't shoot it,miss or in Love's case not interested at all....Outside of Sexton and Porter, the other players aren't really scorers on the team.

IMO he does have a selfish game, but I think it comes more from being immature in his game more than anything else.

I re-watched a lot of games and he seems to have "runs" where he shares the ball well, and then he seems to forget for like a quarter at a time. He can do it when he is properly focused and he actually seems to be seeing it more.

I don't think he is Clarkson style black hole. He can really improve and seems to be, but right now he is in "pass mode" or "score mode" when he really needs to be in "make the right decision in the moment" mode. I am not too worried about it, I think he is aware and is trying to improve.

When it comes down to it, Collin is still sort of raw. He can score so well it makes you think he is mature in his game but he isn't. I mean he put up similar scoring on similar efficiency to Kyrie, but is there any doubt Kyrie's game was more advanced at the same age? He was polished as hell.

He's not Kyrie, and he isn't as efficient, but his scoring is going to lead to assist opportunities.
