Here is the thing about Genard Avery. He was a fifth round pick and was traded for a fourth round pick. If you do that without a player attached to it, it is considered a win. To me, this is more on the coaching staff, not finding a way to use him properly than Dorsey.

I like it for multiple reasons. The main one being is that we’re starting to hold these guys accountable. Yes Dorsey may have missed on this pick but he was taking a shot, sometimes they don’t pan out. It’s easy to come back now and say that he screwed up but the majority were loving this pick when it happened. Making this move doesn’t just get more touches to Higgins it shows these players that if they don’t hold up to their end of the bargain you’re not gonna be part of this franchise. Freddie has been piss poor but so have our players in their execution. I’m glad to see someone finally pay for it and maybe put some pressure on these other guys.

Yeah, but they also created specific holes for those guys to fill in. So when you have that huge hole but get no return on "your" guys, its a problem.

But in this case, at least this means that Higgins is officially #freed
