2019 Cleveland Browns Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So we can take credit for betting on Cleveland Browns in-fighting?

I'd like to bet on the Browns underachieving. Then I has genius. :chuckle:

Did you see how detailed my prediction was? Really went out on a limb bruh.

Even after a Browns win, it feels like a loss.

Kinda can't wait for this season to be done and over with so they can address the issues with the line and the coaching staff, and so people can get healthy.

I feel the same. Even if Kitchen stays, Monken and Wilks need to go. I feel like OBJ was never going to click with Baker if he wasn't healthy. The defense is a dumpster fire at this point. The scheme is so bad that it's hard to evaluate everyone. At least with the offense, we can see something building and a way forward with these players. We know we need O-line help.

Did Lamm play well today? It felt like he wasn't a pushover like we are use to at RT.

it really sucks that the Steelers still have a shot at the playoffs despite starting some guy named "duck" (and my ass, the only ducks I recognize are Scrooge, Darkwing and Dodgers.)

And the Browns can have this almost "LOOK AT THE MOVES I MADE IN MADDEN" -like roster on paper and struggle to limp into it.

It just sucks. I know there's legit reasons for this. Organizational structure, etc. But my god..the NFL really does feel like some big exclusive club the city of Cleveland is not allowed in.

Sorry to bitch but it sucks.

So the position we knew he could play but didn't try him at this year. I thought it was odd they didn't try Bitonio at RG and Corbett at LG as a last ditch effort to see if it worked before trading him.

Even if Bitonio didn't work at RG but Corbett was fine at LG, we might have been able to retain some of Corbett's value and gotten more for him in the off-season.

Why would you move a player who performs at a Pro Bowl level at his position to accommodate an inferior player?

To retain Corbett's value, maybe Bitonio end us still excelling at RG too. Maybe we end up with a solid interior o-line even if Corbett doesn't play at the same level of Bitonio at LG.

If we end up with two good LG but Bitonio can't play RG or it doesn't make the o-line better, then you can trade Corbett in the off-season for more than a 5th round pick.

Bitonio was willing to move to LT last season for Corbett to play LG. The O-line is more about unit performance than any of position group. If you can make it better as a whole even if the individuals performance suffer you do it. It's not like asking Chubb to play TE or WR because we have Hunt.

If the O-line becomes better because one player has to sacrifice, it's a move you make. You see it alot of times when O-linemen get hurt, they slide someone over to another position and insert someone at another position than the one of the injured player. It's because that is their second best o-line unit.

Anyone on about the whole thing that Freddie doesn’t give Chubb the ball or run it enough can go away now.

It’s a false narrative.

Before the 2nd half started, Freddie had gotten the ball to Chubb and Hunt less than 15 times in 4 quarters of play.

Its pathetic, truly. The only reason that Chubb has so many touches is that his first eight weeks he had to be a good old fashioned bell cow. And they still do not run the ball nearly as much as they should.

Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are far and away the best players on this team right now. It's not close.

He’s still paced for over 300 carries.

That’s insanely high volume.

No. It’s not a false narrative. Just looking at the stats is an incredibly lazy way of looking at it. Yeah he’s run the ball a lot. But he should he running it even more. And at the right times. Who gives a fuck what the rest of the league is doing he (and hunt) should see a lot more touches than they already are.
