Dorsey has not been here all that long and there were a lot of holes that needed to be filled. Given the market, the most efficient way to fill these holes were drafting a QB and then building outside-in.
The cost to this is that the offensive line, defensive line, and linebackers leave a lot to be desired. Dorsey tried to fix the last two this summer (Sheldon Richardson, Vernon, Wilson, and Takitaki), but it still takes time.
If the Browns only drafted offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and linebackers this year, everyone on this board would be happy. My guess is that is the plan.
So I am not ready to crucify Dorsey... hell, I do not even think he is that wrong about Freddie. The play-calling has really improved the past few weeks. The team just has to continue to improve and Baker needs to find his play from last year.
