Great game. He should never shoot that mid range. Drive or shoot the 3. Man he played well. Honestly, if Harden was human and would ever miss a contested 3 Porter Jr would have won us that game.

Getting better every game. I think starting Sexton and Porter at the 1 and 2 makes the most sense right now.

Garland's defense is just too bad to bench Sexton. I will say glad his shot has seemed to come around.

Love sucked. JC giveth and taketh away.

Personally think KP should be starting over Sexton but I reckon they will start him over Cedi.. I just have a gut feel the coaching staff dont like Cedi anywhere near as much as previous staff did
 
His ceiling is so high. Love his game and it showed tonight. Still believe he is the steal of the draft.

Need to move clarkson so we can play sexton or garland off the bench. I can sexton shining in clarksons role at some point. Kpj needs to start
 
Let us all just condition our minds that KPJ is our 5th pick and Darius the 30th and all will be right in the world. Hence, KP should be soaking all the minutes while Garland should be pulled back a bit.

No, he can't pass. Stop it.

With his acceleration and ability to break down the defense, his assists and potential assists are comically low. And when he tries to pass you can just see how robotic and unnatural it is for him. This is just what it is at this point.

Absolutely agree.

But what's more surprising is how good Porter is at creating for others. In fact, I actually how well Sexton and Porter play together. Now, you obviously need Cedi or some type of playmaking SF to go with them, but I really like the Sexton-Porter backcourt and maybe let Garland run the 2nd unit.

Porter also is a lot better of a defender than I ever dreamed he would be even at his peak. Dude had 3 steals last night! Now, granted, he also gave up 55 to Harden but I still loved the way he played him.

HE didn't give up 55 to Porter by himself. Sexton was his main defender.

I will say that you need a good team defensive scheme to stop Harden, and I guess Beillein didn't watch the tape? we should have double teamed Harden by leaving Russ' man, or shadowing him and not letting him even let him get a shot off,,, force him towards Russ' man, especially with Henson in the game.

Porter has a good feel in the PnR and is a willing passer. All good signs.

KPJ is not playing like a rookie right now...Hit 3s last night in the clutch, and hit them from different locations/distances. He is playing under control and actually plays with effort on defense. He was the best player on our team last night, and this should only boost his confidence going forward.

Exciting player that I would pay to watch play. To think that he has a lot of upside still is even more exciting.

I agree. Garland continues to struggle and KPJ deserves to start. Trade Clarkson and bring Garland off the bench.
