2019 FA and Offseason Mega Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
For all the praise Danny Ainge gets, I mean, he's kinda fucked up. There is not a lot to show for all the good work he had done previously. I think he has to make some moves. A lot of teams have kind of locked themselves into the top of the East for a few years and Boston is at the back of that bunch, just stagnating and in fact getting worse if they stay idle this off-season.

They don't have one proven power forward or center on that roster. They have to make a move or two for proven big men. Like how would they begin to match up with Philly with Horford and Embiid. May have to move Jaylen Brown.

100%. They have fallen way off in terms of talent and team balance.

Does Butler really think he's going to make the Heat a contender? It's him and who else Winslow, Whiteside? That's not getting it done.

I think Butler is thinking... played in Chicago, in Minnesota, and in Philly. I'm getting out of the snow. Nobody wants to claim the Miami market? I'll take it!

The Heat must have a bigger plan. It's reported they are traded away Dragic to the Mavs. Not sure if they get any compensation back but if they do maybe they can move some of their other contracts for better pieces.

I just don't see a realistic scenario out there that makes them more than a first or second round exit.

Philly did good getting Josh Richardson for Butler. He fills in some of the things they lost with Butler. Embiid-Horford-Harris-Richardson-Simmons is an impressive starting lineup. They lack depth now though.

Thybulle could be solid for them off the bench as a defender. No bench scoring, not much depth behind Embiid/Horford.
