2019 NFL Draft: Day 2 Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
A little nugget is that the Browns like Mack Wilson quite a bit.

Don't know if this translates into drafting him (who knows) but they are high on him.

So an MLB who is very good in coverage...or at least that's what his write-ups say. Seems like a fit.

The Athletic's Dane Brugler reports several teams have "flagged" Washington S Taylor Rapp's hip injury.
This is the same hip flexor issue that cost Rapp to miss the Rose Bowl. He worked out at the Combine with it, but tested poorly. A highly productive three-year starter, Rapp should come off the board some time on Day 2.

Had Indy in the mock draft and researching the roster I was amazed at how strong that team is. Ballard is a very good GM. The Colts now have three second round picks this year and two next year. Plus they still have a ton of cap space. I wouldn't rule out a deal for a veteran DB this evening.

Indy knows what they are doing in the front office and I like their coaching staff as well. I should have pointed out the Rams were also big winners trading their first rounder and a late pick for a 2nd and a 3rd. Day two is the sweet spot in this draft with so little separation from a top 15 pick and a late second rounder. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder with the class of 2019.

Taylor at OT would be interesting. if his knee is not career threatening and only makes him miss part or all of this season.

Still lots of defensive players. I hope they keep trending towards offense until the Browns pick.

Damn, my sleeper Sean Bunting didn't sleep very soundly.

Dont you ever compare Drew Lock to Baker Mayfield Again, ESPN.
