Takitaki didn't impress me when I watched BYU. I thought the guy to go for was defensive tackle Corbin Kaufusi. Takitaki is a former defensive end who learned to cover.

I had about eight available linebackers ranked above him, and eight is being generous.

Luckily they traded the other 3rd in the Odell trade. Honestly, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Kid seems like he could be a special teams dynamo and grow into a role. Dre'Mont, Winovich, and Long going off the board right before the Browns pick didn't leave much that I was pounding the table for. Wouldn't have minded doubling down at CB and taking Layne.
