2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I will say, I enjoy when two shitty teams play on Thursday night because it means I don't have to spend half an hour setting lineups for my 15ish fantasy teams. Across all those leagues I think I own maybe five guys from both these teams combined, and most of that is from picking up DJ Chark off of waivers.

Titans are hot garbage.

Browns just laid an egg week 1.

I wasn't all that impressed with them.
I know they kicked our asses but it really felt like they benefited from the browns being out of rhythm and some REALLY bad calls by the referees.

They game planned to put themselves, and their defense played well...but i feel like if we would have played them week 8 for example? the result would be different.

Flat out the browns stopped playing when the hold that allowed a 80 yard touchdown was reviewed and then allowed. At that point in time the browns had been called for 13-15? penalties, pretty much everything they did was called a penalty. Then a completely and totally obvious penalty by the Titans was missed, reviewed, and not called.

I would have said "fuck this" too

We lost because of penalties. 18 in fact, 2 of which were probably bad calls, meaning we lost because WE committed penalties, not the bad calls.

I turned off the tv at that point.

I'm a bit of a conspiracy theory nut but something didn't feel right that entire game. Felt very Super Bowl XL-like

wasn't worth it.

Tom Brady is the modern day Otto Graham and Peyton manning is the default answer now for franchise QB.

Larry Bird and Magic Johnson made "March Madness" a thing. They also set up the NBA into probably being the 2nd most popular league in the country and laid the carpet out for their modern era.

Muhammad Ali as an individual was so insanely influential that he is not even "just" a sports icon but a historic figure people will look back on years from now.

This is actually really insulting if one thinks about it.

my god. The people on the cheseapeake have their heads up their own ass.

15ish fantasy teams. You sir, are out of your GOTDAM mind.

Buddy of mine in our fantasy league claimed AB off of waivers right after he signed with the Patriots. Blew his entire $100 waiver allowance wad on him. Sent in the group message "IT'S OVER FOR YOU FUCKERS NOW!"

Anxiously awaiting his thoughts on this move.

My stupid auto draft drafted AB. Was able to finally drop his ass and somehow Demarcus Robinson was still available in my league.
