2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Blessing in disguise, they won't tank their way into their next franchise QB!

Well, it's time to lend them our expression "Wait 'Till Next Year."

They could easily be bottom-of-the-barrel two years in a row, and win the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes.

they could overachieve but without ben? they're sort of up shit creek at the moment.

i'd have held onto the pick and nabbed a qb IMO.

Exactly!

Daniel Jones starting week 3.

Reactions: Lee
Lol @ Manning’s exit. If only the HOF acceptance was based solely on merit. I can’t stand that he’s going to be “in” even if they make him wait a year or two.

Ride the pine you fucking doofus.

You know Eli is getting in though. I don't think he should. I got nothing against Eli. But his yards, SBs, and TDs are going to get him. Although I think the yards and TDs all-time stats don't mean as much, everyone passes in this era. So its a bit misleading.

In this era, his passer rating is just 84.1. That's around average. That's not very good.

I don't believe that stat should be the defining factor, but, it is still the most important statistic judging the play of a QB.

No one, has ever, at any point of his career confused Eli as one of the best at his position. The HOF is for the best, not just good players.

He's simply been just good at the peak of his career, and had a lot of average, and even bad years as a QB.

But he'll get in. The Manning pull is huge in the NFL. Writers just worship that family.

So.......PA won't move forward with an investigation against Antonio Brown because of a "Statute of limitations issue"....?

Ummm....so, I'm no legal guru. Does that imply "There is something but limitations could cause it to backfire against the investigation, so we're waiting until its an open-shut case"? Or, "they're gonna settle out of court"?

Either way, he looks like a worthless human being

No. It means that enough time has lapsed since the alleged crime that no charges can be filed against Brown.

Check out the Sports Illustrated write-up on Brown. It really paints a portrait of an awful person who doesn't feel he has to pay working class people for their services and likely sexually harassed numerous women who worked for him at some point. It seems like he wants to use the fact that he had a tough upbringing as an excuse to be an asshole.

Being sued by his former doctor for farting in his face multiple times has to take the cake.
