2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Cowboys look outmatched

Not going to put a lot of stock in one game though. Cowboys have done themselves no favors in this game. Weird to hold ARod to just 138 passing yards in the first half and still be down three scores.

But Packers defense does look improved. Got to give them some credit obviously.

They've looked bad against the only good teams they've played though.

Eh, their defense wasn't bad last week. They held the Saints to zero TDs. And the Saints defense is really good, man.

I'm not penciling the Cowboys as a SB team or anything. Going against better teams, yeah, you might lose a few. They're playing really good fucking teams.

Still a lot of football left to really make any serious declarations about any team.

I'm not going to declare the Cowboys dead off two games against two really good teams.

We got destroyed by the Titans, are we done? No. Shit happens. You're going to go through some rough stretches.

He would have been just fine if he landed on the table as intended...I'm sure.

The Ravens have also only looked good against bad teams though and I've seen people make the same argument with them. How are The Cowboys any different?

The Cowboys were a playoff team last year. So its not throwing shit at the wall saying they're a good team.

Yeah, so were the Ravens last year, but I don't think anyone (well common sense people) really bought Lamar playing a pro bow caliber QB and making that extra leap would continue.

I wasn't on the Ravens train just yet, because I didn't believe Lamar would continue at this pace.

It's not like the Cowboys came out of no where though. They were good last year. And I believe a good team this year.

Let's just let the games play out a bit man, before we declare teams dead. lol. Cowboys losing these two games don't really mean jack shit.

Patriots have had some ugly losses during years they've won Super Bowls.

Okay. I just think that The Cowboys we clearly anointed early in this season and all they've done is lay eggs against good competition.

Anointed to what though? I don't recall anyone having them in the SB (except Skip Bayless of course lol)..

They showed more for realness than the Ravens. They beat Seattle last year, and they put up a fight against the Rams. They didn't look like some joke to me coming into the season.

I'm not suggesting btw the Saints (I think they're the best team in football), and the Packers might not be better.

Hell, the Cowboys did beat the Saints last year.

The Ravens looked like a joke in the post-season. I just don't see the comparison TBH. Where the Cowboys looked like a legit good team, where the Ravens just won the division in a shitty one, and just got embarrassed in the post season. Proving they were just frauds.

Off topic revolving the Packers.

If the Packers defense is this for real, they got to be taken seriously. What's weird is Rodgers really hasn't played THAT GREAT yet, and they're still winning.

That's scary to me. I got to think Rodgers will start playing better. If the Packers defense is legit, they are dangerous.

Don't think Garrett wins this one. But that looks a bit ticky tacky to me. No wonder guys throw for 5,000 yards today. All the rules just favor the offense. The ball was poorly thrown TBH. If Rodgers throws it on the money, that's an easy TD.

That's why I don't like the call. It was under thrown and not really catchable.

Agreed. Contact came at about (maybe ever-so slightly before) same time ball came.

Game is too controllable by refs now.

I still hate how CBs always play man and don't look for ball. You're going to get called for PI way more if you don't turn around.

You keep bringing up last year. I'm talking about this year. This year they are pretenders.
