Maybe you and the other guys (I can tag everyone again if needed) need to look at yourselves if what you’re actually looking for is more activity in here. Are you looking for more activity or do you enjoy making comments like the one above? Because the next comment after this you called a guy an idiot.

And just a day ago a bunch of you guys had to have posts deleted by the owner of the board for bullying. BULLYING. Repeatedly. On a message board about the Cleveland Indians. On the internet.

Seriously. Do a gut check here.

Think about whether you want people to post or whether you want to insult people and then complain that people have stopped posting.

You guys can lash out at me again for pointing out the truth or you can say “hey, yeah maybe we should stop calling people names and being mean to people on the internet and we’ll have a better board.”

Personally, I'm not looking for an increase in activity. The post was simply an observation that poor performances have been drawing a lot more activity than positive ones.

There's a difference between saying someone's an idiot and saying "You assume like an idiot." Sure it might be more technicality than substance, but when the guy's first words are "I'm assuming you have never played the game of baseball" don't accuse the "toxic board" of being the ones who threw civility out the window first.

Pretty much everything you're saying in relation to how we interact with each other is correct.

I'm genuinely not looking for more people to poke their heads out of the woodwork and comment. I'm fine with quality over quantity.

I don't like the way you lump so many different people into one entity in this address.

The pot shot by moz was shitty.

Edit: btw, my post that got swept up in the b00bie tirade by ben was anti-bullying. If you saw it, I'm pretty sure it's something you would've agreed with. Ironic considering the post we're talking about here? Sure. But just wanted to set that record straight.

Innocuous sarcasm and ball-breaking of posters (without malicious or condescending intent) is absolutely vital to the development of a community’s fraternization.

We are a community; whether or not others recognize that is a different discussion.

I dig it. Ballbusting is crucial to male bonding in general and helps people get past insecurities of their own and together.

Parents should teach it to their kids tbh. Different discussion though that can be had elsewhere.

TBH I don’t intend to come in here regularly.. It’s obviously not my bit and I don’t consider myself part of this group and don’t need to be, nor do I ever desire to be a mod.
