2019 Series #39 | Indians vs. Red Sox | August 12th, 13th, and 14th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hand has been one of the best closers in baseball. Sometimes closers go through rough stretches. Good news is Clev and Bieber are up. Hopefully meaning we won’t ask too much out of the pen.

1. CC
2. Kluber
3. Brantley, Masterson, or Carmona

I like Lindor a lot, but just the knowing that he will leave as soon as he is a free agent has made me much less emotionally invested

I was devastated when we traded CC and watched pretty much every start he had for the brewers that year

It's very rare in baseball anyone remains on the team their entire career. I'm not going to like Lindor any less if he leaves. But I must admit, if he goes to the Yankees. I'll have to bite my tongue until he leaves them.

But I love how he's handled himself here, and think he's represented himself well. He's my fave, next to Bieber and Kluber.

So the obvious 2 in Kluber and Lindor, then we have a bunch like Jose, Miller, Cliff Lee, Hafner.

Yeah, I could see top 3, but not sure.

How could I forget Pronk. Definitely in my all-time favorite 5 Indians ever. Just loved the guy. How could anyone not.

Does anyone know why Puig is serving his suspension now? I don't really know how suspensions work but Boston doesn't seem like the ideal team to do it against.

Red Sox are a at home series. Next two series are on road. Yankees and mets

I loved him too, and am actually quite sad that his career was never the same after he got hit in the head by Mark fucking Buehrle.

In my mind, Pronk’s entire career can be separated into before the concussion and after the concussion. Hafner could’ve had a Thome-like career without that.

Just seemed like calculated move to get it over with now rather than delaying the inevitable. Probably would've missed 2 games vs. the Yankees had he appealed

Also, they mentioned on the broadcast last night that he is currently in Miami getting his US Citizenship

1. Hafner
2. CC
3. Kluber
4. Jose
5. Frankie
5b. Giambi- I know it was a short stint. But the camaraderie and confidence he brought to the team had a lasting impact.

All this discussion and no one has mentioned Bill Selby. I am disappointed in all of you and question the forum's collective judgement.

My list:
1. Bill
2. Selby
3. Is
4. God

Better to do it at home against a struggling Red Sox team than on the road against the Yankees or the current hottest team in baseball, the Mets.

Got the word he was not going to have it reduced, better to get it out of the way now.

Here’s the Carlos walk off from last night + hammy’s call if you missed it.
