2020-2021 Cavs Season General Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
In a nutshell, their bench, out scored or bench by 12 and they won by 3.
the nutshell was turnovers.
The Hoops Gods will not let you turn the ball over that much and not pay the penance of a loss. It would be an affront to MJ's elbow fadeaway, Bird's behind his ear release-point on a covered 3 for game or Mark Price splitting the double team off the trap.. ie: all that we hold sacred.

He caught my eye his sophomore year at Duquesne right before he transferred to Arizona and led some damn good Wildcat teams.

He just does everything he can to help you win.
He's in the mold of Delly, or Ohio State's Aaron Craft.
Pesky, energy, decent distributor, reliable.

Perfect bench pg and occasional starter.

If they trade McGee I hope it's because they want to do him a favor, and even then.. meh. I really like him and he is better than whatever we can get for him.

I’d like McConnell but we have enough midget guards already.

The Bullshit Whisperer strikes again.
feel like we will have several trades before the deadline

mcgee for sure as his contract is favorable and he has value
drummond will be tough to move
prince, another player with value but does have another year on deal

cedi....if they get a decent return, a young player in a position of need he is gone

bet we end up with a young player and 4 second round picks

I would give my left nut to have Dinwiddie run our second unit
I might let him start ahead of Garland tbh. Regardless the Cavs could run a nice 3 man rotation with Sexland and Din with all 3 playing significant minutes. I think Dinwiddie was already getting a little frustrated in his role w/ Brooklyn and that was before they acquired Harden.
Cavs would likely need to open up some capspace so I'd be looking to dump those Cedi and/or Prince contracts. Some team could use one of them off their bench.

Spencer Dinwiddie has a player option for about twice the MLE...why would he take a paycut, voluntarily, by half to come to Cleveland as a backup?
Cavs would likely have to dump a contract (Cedi and/or Prince) to offer him a starting salary in the $12 mil range. It sounds expensive but there aren't alot of big ballhandlers out there. The Lonzo train has left the building.

I'm fairly certain that if we want Dinwiddie from the nets that they will give him up for pretty much nothing. He has a player option for next year and has a partially torn ACL. They are a contender and can't take that risk that his ACL doesn't heal properly and they have to eat that contract or attach assets to move off of it. He also doesn't fit into their team anymore.
