2020-2021 Cavs Season General Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Based on what I’m reading it sounds like LeVert is the holdup on the trade. Folks already talking about what if he’s not healthy and Indiana backs out etc etc...

Hopefully it's nothing more than a delay in getting LeVert (assuming it is him; seems reasonable to me that it is) in for a physical.

Thinking ahead a bit -- if LeVert doesn't pass his physical, I wonder if that would simply invalidate the Houston-Indiana part of the trade, and if the rest of the trade can be salvaged. The teams obviously aren't going to want to have to pull the plug on the entire thing -- they have a lot of incentive to make sure the deal goes through. (If you thought Harden was disgruntled in Houston before ...)

In the end, it'll probably just be a speed bump that we all forget about quickly.

No the deal is just done as is and our 2nd goes to Indiana instead of BK (similar to our IT trade)

Not a fan but the bottom line is that McGee will be much easier to move than Drummond.

However, I'm not sure a player has done more to impress me than McGee has given his role. He went from winning rings every year to playing with our young guys, contributing, and being a great presence for the locker room.

I just don’t know what good value for McGee looks like. I would be happy with a 1st, Miles Bridges, or any of the Portland young guys but I’m not sure anyone is going to give those things to the Cavs.

They have to move him. No other real choice ATM.

You can tell he liked playing with the young guys..

Yeah. He is a value add. Winning a couple of championships might have done that for him as a player, but he was the right kind of veteran this team needed to learn the NBA game. Will be sad to see him go, if he does.

Damn Seth Curry was a Cavalier?!! Dammit!
That one and Danny Green haunt me sometimes. Did the Cavs also pick Tyus Jones, or am I imagining that?

Technically, drafted by the Cavs, but the pick was traded to the Wolves.
