Damn…Valentine, Exum, and Parker ahead of Oubre - what am I missing? His career 3pt % isn’t impressive - is his defense overrated?
I’d take a flyer on Oubre. What do you have to lose? I’m honestly surprised he’s still available.

I've heard he's not good in the lockerroom. Not sure I want him around a young team when we are trying to develop them.
I hadn’t heard that. He seems like a weird dude, who’s a bit aloof. I think he’s big on social media, which probably explains a lot

Basically, they are all flawed players, including Oubre. I think Oubre is a bit of a wildcard and not 100% sure he's ready to be a complete team player and I think the other guys are more likely to move with the direction of the team and the coaching staff at all times.

If I felt confident Oubre could replicate his 2019-2020 season in PHX(also playing with Rubio) I might feel better abut him. But at the same time, Oubre was injured and out when the Suns made there big bubble 9-0 run. Was that coincidence or linked?

I think Oubre wants to be on a team where he will start. Golden State said they would like him back but coming off the bench.

How much he gets paid might change that though.

He's a selfish player on the court too. The Warriors were also better without him last year. They wanted to used him as a small ball 4 off the bench but he had no interest in that. Oubre has the physical gifts to be a really nice roleplayer but considers himself a star. Pass.

He’d obviously start here. I’m expecting nothing out of Windler and the ship has sailed on Cedi.

I know nothing about him being bad in the locker room, but if GS wants him back albeit in a bench role, how much of a cancer can he be?

I would pass on Ross. He's complete garbage. He's a 3-D player who can neither shoot nor defend. I'm not sure Ross even has a plus skill at this stage of his career.
I'd take him if it just cost Cedi and maybe a SRP.
Orlando, like the Cavs, has been a bit of a mess the past few years. His % weren't great last year but still a proven shooter. Probably won't give you much defensively but at this point I'd just be happy to add a shooter that's taller than 6'-5".

He is a career 36% shooter. He's not a proven shooter. He had a couple of fluke seasons where he shot the ball at a decent rate. Otherwise the majority has been in the 34% range. And hes 6-6. Let's not pretend he's bigger then all of the 6-5 wings we have. And factor in his 6-7 wingspan with his 6-6 height guys like Okoro who are 6-5 with 6-9 wingspans are longer and have a higher standing reach.

I still take him over Cedi though.
FWIW he's supposedly been a very good teammate in both Toronto and Orlando too.

I would keep Cedi. Ross makes 4.5 M more this season and next season. He's not 4+ Million better then Osman.

Cedi is also owed money in year three though. It's not my $ but I'd much rather pay extra and have Ross actually contribute 20 mins a game as it doesn't seem any FA's are going to take their money anyway. I've seen enough of Cedi at this point.

Ross's contract would expire same time as Love.

Ross would not want to be here, but he is a lot better than Cedi as a spacer. I think they would trade Cedi pretty easily despite his obvious hustle defensively. He is just way too disgruntled to keep around imo

You don't need to expect anything out of Windler due to injury issues obviously, but he has played injured when he has played, never established much rhythm on any unit with injuries across the team, and everyone within the org is very high on him.

Ross doesn't contribute anything. He's complete ass on defense and he can't shoot on offense. I honestly prefer neither on the team. I would explore any scenario where we trade Cedi for someone other then Ross who is down right terrible.
