It's tough because we really don't know his situation. The fact the calf might still be a problem is super concerning. We have also seen him play well for stretches and then think his back is hurt by the way he moves on the floor.

He broke his knuckle doing push ups, so we know he isn't the toughest guy. An NBA trainer smugly asked me if I thought Olynyk was dirty on that play and laughed when I said yes. He said it happens all the time, but Love's arm just came out.

The pissy stuff on the court is hard to justify, but I have to say. That play with the ball against the Raptors was very weird. The official just threw the ball to Love from Half court. I have never seen an official not be beside the player on the baseline while putting the ball back in play. I can read that action as a "WTF??" from Love rather than trying to show up the official. Dunno the rules on where the official should be or whether he is obligated to be at the inbound point.
That KLove is laughable loss of control stuff reminds me of Walt White when he throws the pizza on the roof then wakes with his face planted in a carpet full of popcorn lol s3e2
Love is old beaten down and just trying to maintain his ability to sit up straight on the bench imo

I’m looking forward to how Sexton, Garland, and Okoro play with our big men. Lots of talent we have now.

The last couple of years Love has told the Cavs that he was coming into camp in great shape and was ready to go. It’s been reported in the media that wasn’t exactly the case. We saw the same thing with team USA this summer.

Owners have insurance on these contracts and I know this because I used to work for a company that insures alot of NBA teams. In fact, we had the Celtics claim for Gordon Hayward after his horrific leg injury. The insurance will reimburse a portion of the athlete’s contract, if they are physically unable to perform. So, from that standpoint, owners may not care if an athlete, like Love, cannot play as they are getting at least some of their investment back.
So if Love is hurt, the owner gets back a percentage from insurance? How much are we talking?

Having been an official in the past (10 years experience) as far as where the official should have been……his place OR one of the other officials were supposed to be on the baseline making a five count. So either he or one of his crew were out of position.

Kind of alarming 2 teams that desperately need talent, Hou and Dallas, have both waived Bey. With that said I'd definitely take a shot on him despite his total lack of outside shooting. The Cavs seem sold on Stevens to the point they haven't brought in any competition for him or at least that's my perception. If I were Koby I'd be looking under every rock to find potential wing talent/depth.

Yeah very interesting. I though especially Dallas could have used him, but has to be something there.

24 years old, 6-5, averaged 16pts and shot 45% on 43PA per game in the Eurocup last season. Could be a solid pickup for the Cavs to play back up 2/3 minutes?
