Yeah very interesting. I though especially Dallas could have used him, but has to be something there.
Maybe Houston is just doing the Cavs a solid after handing them KPJ for a rack of slightly used basketballs last season?

OTOH Koby just seems allergic to adding any wings to this roster so who knows...Bey was a high 2nd round pick last year so does have size/talent even though he really needs to work on his outside shot to stick in this league.

Similar to stevens, maybe a bit longer. Awful looking 3pt shot.
He is a 4 in a 3 body but has good athleticism and he can shoot an outside shot even if the mechanics are ugly. Kid plays defense well enough good lateral mover and is an elite rebounder similar to previous Colorado Alum Roberson who played for awhile in the league in OKC and would be worth a training camp flier imo

24 years old, 6-5, averaged 16pts and shot 45% on 43PA per game in the Eurocup last season. Could be a solid pickup for the Cavs to play back up 2/3 minutes?
I would VERY DEFINITELY contact this guy. Can we afford not to contact a guy who shoots 45% from 3? All-Euro League.
Hell, with Pangos , Lauri, and Rubio, maybe they all know each other.

Big difference between All-Eurocup and All-Euroleague. Eurocup is a lower level competition and a smaller number of games, just 13 for Cordinier. For his career he's barely a 30% 3-point shooter, so it's very likely that his hot shooting in Eurocup last year was a fluke.

A guy I work with qualified for the Eurocup in 2001 playing for Racing Luxembourg, the city had a population of 76000 people and the local league rules stated only 3 players from the 15 man roster were allowed to be non luxembourgish professional players. Eurocup is definitely many tiers below the Euroleague :chuckle:

Yeah...there are some genuinely good players/teams in Eurocup. But the shorter format and the large 24-team pool creates all kinds of opportunities for random players and teams to shine. Cordinier's team went a mediocre 4-6 in group stage, barely enough to advance, then were eliminated after going 2-4 in the top-16 phase. Still, Cordinier had enough good games in that short span to earn All-Eurocup honors.

traded for Osman & Hood, drafted Windler, KPjr, Okoro and added Stevens via free agency. Had we just taken Keldon Johnson instead of Windler maybe most of this is solved. Heck, maybe Dylan finally gets used to his prosthetic leg and starts contributing. Koby needs some luck to turn his way on the wings. I think Okoro ends up a good one, probably needs 1 or 2 more though.

Man that website. I laughed out loud at this. Something to be said for the inefficiencies of web 1.0 was that there were way more websites dedicated to absolutely hilarious stuff. It would just be a twitter feed today.

I have a Larry Hughes Bobblehead. My beloved neon Cavs sign is no more. I should changed my Avi.
