Turned the game off at halftime.

Reactionary Takeaways:
- I don’t think Okoro has any chance of succeeding on this roster.
- Bickerstaff is clueless.
- Mobley looks special.
- Rubio helps a lot.
- Garland and Sexton looked like the same players that led us to 22 wins last year.

Pretty much the exact same thoughts as mine... but I'd add:

- Markkanen had a rough start to showing us how he 'fits' into this roster. He looked dreadful.

I didn’t include him because I know he’s a good shooter that had a bad shooting night.

If he shoots well, his fit is much clearer.

It's late. The Cavs just got blown out.
But I have a goofy question.

Would you want Krazy Kyrie back if the price was reasonable?
I think the Nets are getting frustrated.
I would rather be on diaper detail at the fat baby Reformatory then ever watch another drama queen in the w/g

I agree about Lauri. I actually think he showed promise. It looked more like a rust issue to me.

What's odd about the Cavs is that they have been playing small-ball now going on 3 seasons and still play a plodding, slowed down offense. If you are going to be smaller 1-3, you have to run/play with pace and attack slow-a-foot mismatches quickly. Still waiting for that to happen.
Hope is that Mobley gets his sealegs, starts rebounding reasonably well and getting the outlet going..hard to do if the perimeter is a sieve though. G's don't have to be lockdown defenders, but good enough to stay in front and force a semi-contested jumper v looking back yelling "HELP" constantly.
Anyway, last night from middle of 2nd on was a debacle. Time to burn it up and start again.

But Lamar looked pretty good :)

Two thoughts:
1. Chalk it up to being like a bad practice... if you want to keep your sanity.
2. How did the Bulls suddenly have an entire roster full of real players? This team looks legit at every position.

Maybe last night was like Days of Thunder, when Robert Duvall tells Tom Cruise to run the track his way...and he destroys all the tires, then the next time do it Duvalls way and saves the tires and runs the track faster.

Last night I'm sure JBB said..."fine, do it your way, but tomorrow night we are doing it my way and we will compare results"

Of course the opposite could be true too.

I need some opinions here.
I used to be a Cavs ticket holder in the LeBron years. When he left, I left too.
When I had them, I really enjoyed going to the games. They were fun, plus the Cavs organization treats ticket holders like kings.
Obviously, the Cavs have really stunk in recent years.
This year, I thought they would be better. Not a championship contender, but able to compete at home at least.
So I am seriously considering buying a ticket plan again.
But I don't want to pay for tickets, parking, and food to a game that is over in the third quarter.

Then I watched last night's game, and got a dose of reality.
So what do I do? Buy tickets, or watch on tv?

Maybe try it for a month then make your own evaluation if it's worth it. The monthly pass seems like a good deal.

They are not going to be that good until later in the season imo. Go for the after the break packages

Didn’t get to watch as much of game 2

- I’m getting more and more worried that Okoro is as bad as I think he is
- Bickerstaff is still clueless
- Mobley still looks special
- Rubio still helps a lot
- Garland still looks the same as last year
- Sexton looks like he’s trying really hard to be “the guy” and it’s blown up in his face so far

-I think Okoro is going to be fine, which by fine I mean he'll be serviceable. I don't know if he'll ever be 5th pick level. Then again he's what 20?
-JB is beloved by the players but yeah, I tend to see the same out of him
- Mobley has been every as advertised. Digging it all
-Rubio is a better version of Delly and a starter coming off the bench (
-Garland is on my list for being over-hyped ALL off-season. The man has to show he's better than 15 points a game
-Young Bull has been turning the ball a damn ton, that being said I'll bet on Sexton to get it figured out
