The Westbrook signing was such a mistake.

Teams overreact to losing way too much.

It's a staple of LeBron teams.

They weren't healthy last year.

But there was no reason to not run it back with most of those same guys. Caruso is like a perfect bench guard for a contender.

Losing caruso, KCP and oddly Kuz hurts the lakers so much. If they flip Kuz for Hield and do everythign else hte same, they are probably favorites out west.

Russ is just unplayable in the modern NBA unless your goal is lose in the first round and watch half your players sit in the corner

I still like Lebron but it's his and AD's fault that they got Westbrook. The Lakers basically had the deal done with Sacramento but AD and Lebron wanted Westbrook. Now,they got an inefficient chucker that cares more about his stats than winning a title. The sad part,I actually like Westbrook but I wouldn't want him on my team.

Hard for me to feel sorry for them when they could have gotten Hield.

Look at the Wizards in first place in the East off the Lakers castaways. And Caruso fitting in great with the Bulls, he is a great supporting player. Lakers literally had a team that showed it could win a title in 2020 and threw it away for Westbrook, wow

Otto Porter plays like 12 minutes a night in GS and he'd be our starter here.

they got him for vet minimum, too. We could have had him, right? Let’s see…a 6’8 small forward with lifetime 40% shooting from 3…could we maybe have used that?

He was an unrestricted free agent. We could've offered him the MAX and not had a chance, if he didn't want to come here.

I'm honestly stunned how good GS looks.

It's the same basic team from last year that made the play-in.

It's Steph Curry and some quality role players.

You hate to see it.

We were 9-5 with some injuries and a bunch of young players & new arrivals. I think the rule changes and possible the new ball have thrown some teams off. I also think it's no accident Golden State and some of the other teams that didn't make the playoffs or were out early are doing well. A short offseason after another short offseason might have some players starting slow this season. Also, many of the better teams have older players that are wise to take it easy early in the marathon that is an NBA season.

Rumor when he signed with GS was that he took less money then other teams offered.

Saying he hasn't played isn't the flex you think it is.

I've watched him since high school and the only way any of what you've said could be remotely true, was if he was playing next to Ball and showing an ability to make better decisions off the ball or decisions that creates shots for others

He can't, and he doesn't have the length to compliment a PG (he's not one)

His freshman year broke my heart because we wasted Luke May and Cameron Johnson giving us title contending performances simply because he was the third cog and the bluechip 5 star guard and had no idea how to play basketball outside of using his speed to get buckets for himself. He plays at 99mph because that's his only NBA skill and if he can't get downhill and get a few early buckets, he looks like Okoro on offense in half court sets without the defensive ability and IQ to keep the ball moving.

Find stats or reference actual play to substantiate your baseless claims
Nail on the head. And the description of him as a poor man's Sexton is putting it so very lightly. He basically is the embodiment of the majority of Sexton skeptic memes

The Warriors playing like they do frankly makes me want to vomit.
Watching Wiggins and his stiff-hips, store brand Harrison Barnes basketball playing turn around and becoming more like the brand he's emulating is pretty annoying af to see. he was pure ass a couple of seasons ago. Never mind the aforementioned Otto Porter situation.

The Lakers and Celtics... but worse.

OKC hanging with the Heat...so far. Dort is the player Okoro needs to become for the Cavs. Dort has confidence in taking shots on offense and will play through rough stretches. Lately, he's been scoring.

Giddey is a triple double threat, but needs to refine his shot. He often releases too quickly with loose form.
I am lowkey enjoying OKC defying the tank. A lot of talent on that team is ...suboptimal but I've become higher and higher on Giddey since watching him play in the NBA.
