The Warriors playing like they do frankly makes me want to vomit.
Watching Wiggins and his stiff-hips, store brand Harrison Barnes basketball playing turn around and becoming more like the brand he's emulating is pretty annoying af to see. he was pure ass a couple of seasons ago. Never mind the aforementioned Otto Porter situation.

The Lakers and Celtics... but worse.
eh, I hated the Durant bitch move to Golden State but other than that they've drafted well, traded well and developed players well. I don't like them but I respect how they operate. I also respect Draymond's competitiveness and Curry has revolutionized the game with his shooting. Don't like any of them as a fan, but like & respect are two different things.

The Lakers, on the other hand, are actually one of the worst franchises in the NBA in terms of ownership and front office. The Buss kids are pale imitations of their father. They were running that franchise into the ground until LeBron (oh, excuse me, his family, because they went to LA based on a democratic vote including two minor kids, not because LeBron made the Decision II) decided to go to the Lakers for fun, sun & profit. He managed to get AD to bitch his way to LA as well but they screwed up selling out for Westbrook and their asset bank is low. They have a built-in advantage due to location and franchise lore (Celtics also have the latter) but with that ownership they'll be in trouble long term. Can't stand that team and I despise the Celtics going back to 1976, 1985, Larry Bird's last game (he-he), Kelly fuqing Olynyk, injuring Mobley, etc. The Lakers and Celtics suck all the oxygen out of the NBA - when they're down, it's better for everyone else.

IDK if this was posted already, but the lakers are waiving Sekou Doumbouya, think he's worth a shot?

My thought process. He's got a minor foot injury, and the Lakers waived him after Detroit gave up on him in 2 years. Pass.

Watching OKC tonight vs Houston instead of Cleve vs Brooklyn. I'm sure you guys understand :chuckle:

Dort had 11 in the first quarter. He's had four straight 20 point games. Dude has inside/out offense now, shooting the 3 ball and finishing strong. Playing super confident. It's needed, too, because SGA has been slumping.

Dort 7/9 at the half, 2/4 from 3. 16 points. His offense has just been fire lately, and I love it.

SGA finally got it going in the second. Teams have been hounding him, and some of his fakes had gotten predictable, but he had some nifty behind-the-back dribbles to knife for some finishes this time.

Darius Bazley still annoys me. Anthony Randolph 2.0. Some defensive flashes, but no offense (except against the Lakers, lol). Gangly and awkward. Poku also can really play like a drunken skeleton out there, and Daigneault's limited options include having to start a guy like Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, but OKC still finds ways to not be utterly horrible. I would like to see more of Isaiah Roby, but he's fallen out of favor in the lineup this season for some reason.

KPJ isn't playing tonight for the Rockets, FYI. Thigh bruise or something.

Missing out on the return of KLove? How could you!? Love was solid in his first game back.

Thank you for the OKC insights. They have some good long term potential.

I know, I know! But playing short-handed against Brooklyn, I figured it'd be an ugly game, whereas OKC would probably run over the Rockets. They're starting to get a bit lazy defensively in the 4th, though, and it's down to single digits atm...yikes. Hope they don't throw this one away.

Lu Dort saved the game! 34 points tonight. Guy plays with as much heart as anyone I've ever seen. I'll never forget his defense on Harden in the playoffs. Fearless. Now he can even score; five straight games of 20 or more.

47 points on 18-23 shooting by Giannis, he is truly elevating to an all time great

Can’t even dump on the Lakers for losing that one, they ran into a next level player. Unfortunately for them, with Lebron’s aging they no longer have one of those themselves…AD is fantastic but I don’t think he is in the running for being a top 20 player ever to play the game

Tristan is saying "we don't need inspiration and coaching that will make us try hard, we need coaching that will put us in a position to get stops using scheme and to get buckets when it's winning time and we have to score as a collective"

I think this is damning for Walton more than it's in support of him

I really like Dort and Giddey. I was wondering why OKC passed on Sengun for Giddey, but man... that dude is good.
