I still think they'll have Alabama at 2. They'll have Ole Miss ranked in the top 10, they'll move up Mississippi State, and they'll keep Arkansas ranked after a 7 point loss to Alabama. They at least want the option to put both SEC teams in the playoff.

So I think the CFP is
Georgia, unless somehow they lose to Georgia Tech
OSU/UM winner, assuming they beat Wisconsin/Iowa
Cincy, if they win out
Those teams control their own destiny. If they win out, that’s 3 spots. That leaves
10-2 Bama
10-1 ND
12-1 Oklahoma/Oklahoma St
My gut tells me ND actually makes it in that scenario, but not sure
I hope you're right. It's bullshit that ND benefits from not having to win a conference championship game. Can't see it. Either Oklahoma or OK St. will have a win over the other, and then over Baylor.
It'll be enough to move past Notre Dame.
Or in Oklahoma's case, two straight wins over Oklahoma State.
To follow up, say the Big 12 ends up with no 1 loss teams. So you have 11-2 Bama or 10-1 ND as the last team? Can't see it. Either Oklahoma or OK St. will have a win over the other, and then over Baylor.

That's probably dependent on how close Bama plays Georgia in the SEC Championship game.To follow up, say the Big 12 ends up with no 1 loss teams. So you have 11-2 Bama or 10-1 ND as the last team?
