yeah.. it's early !!That scorekeeper was hoping for a call up to Akron this year...not a great start, but he still has time.

2nd best C prospect in the system behind Naylor. If they move Naylor off of C to protect his bat, which there is a real chance they will, him and Yainer Diaz are the 2 guys who matter at that position in the short-term.
He can hit (not for much HR power right now), he calls a good game, manages his pitchers well, blocks pitches well, speaks both English and Spanish which is huge, and has a good arm. Just a high floor, solid C prospect to me.
Diaz is an offense first guy. Dude can absolutely hit. Has a big arm too, but he is rough around the edges everywhere else. Him and Lavastida got a lot of one-on-one time with Sandy Alomar this Spring, will only help them moving forward.
While Akron was the hopeful destination from Lynchburg in 2019, now its getting to Lake County. That scorekeeper was hoping for a call up to Akron this year...not a great start, but he still has time.

I must have missed the announcement that the minor leagues were playing with whiffle balls this year. The first curve in this video lmao
Is he really tall or does it just like that because his batting stance is so upright?
I will fuel his hype train until I run out of gas.

Since I never watch minor league baseball I never saw a home plate umpire sprint out into the infield after the ball was hit. Then he appeared to be shadowing the batter as he circled the bases. Do they only have one umpire?

Just FYI for everyone, Alexfri Planez is eligible for the R5 draft this season if not added to the CLE (or in the event of trade another team's) 40 man roster by mid Nov 2021..He ain’t what he’s listed.
6’4 to 6’5 with real long arms and legs.
He just has such a smooth, simple swing at such a young age and generates huge power with it. Typically don’t see that with teenagers, they like to swing out of their shoes.
