I understand where you are coming from but my preference would be for Nolan Jones to get reps over there (opening 3B for Miller/ others).
That would also allow Daniel Johnson/ others to keep getting reps in the OF & rotating thru CF & the corners..

In any regard my hope is Jones/ Johnson/ Miller/ Arias/ even Mercado/ Zimmer/ Bradley are starting at least 5 of the 6 games each week

I understand your thinking, but we need help now, and Miller seems to be well ahead of Jones.

Besides, Miller is RH, and right now that's a better fit. Miller has also been serviceable vs RH bats. Jones is Zimmerlike vs LHers.

Third, Miller plays more positions than Jones, who is still basically a 3B.

Wolf sitting 95 touching 97 with good breaking stuff.

Him and Espino won’t be long for low A. They’re going to K a shit ton of hitters at this level.
How's Espino doing as a pitcher so far?

Is he starting to learn how to control his pitches, put together a series that keeps hitters off balance and develop his tertiary and quaternary pitches? Or is he just blowing people away with his fastball and curve because they're not talented enough to hit him?

Bieber. Plesac and Civale all jumped from high A to the bigs in 1 year.

All 3 were college pitchers. Wolf and Espino were drafted out of high school. Therein lies the reason that Wolf and Espino will likely not ascend as quickly. That should in no way shape or form detract from the excitement you have for 2 fantastic arms in the organization. I know I am.

Whatever happens, I don't want Miller to lose his skillset at 2B because that's where he'll be playing when Hernandez is dealt at the AS break or after his option for next season is declined.

I know what you're saying, but there are plenty of pitchers that reach the bigs at 21 years of age. Classe being just 1. Feller was 17...Doc Gooden was 19, just sayin.

I meam hell yeah - there are 3 examples in only the last 90 years - happens all the time - just sayin

there's a another thread here that assures us all that 26 year old junk baller Scott Moss is the next big thing

How many examples do you need to satisfy you? Not gonna fill up 3 paragraphs with 21 year olds that cracked the bigs. I'll assure you this. Scott Moss will be ten times better than Sam fucking Hentges.

I can grant you Bieber/ Plesac.. They were in High A Lynchburg one year & were in the majors the very next season

However Civale pitched in Lynchburg in 2017. Spent all of 2018 in AA Akron (21 starts) & on the injured list. He made it to CLE in 2019 after 13 more starts (5 in AA & 8 in AAA Columbus). 34 starts is more than a full season of work so Civale was close (but not quite).
