I really hate games like that that end on such a flukey shot though. Slamming one off the glass from 40 feet. Ugh. Brutal end for UCLA, relative to how they played.

Yeah I feel for them. Although it wasn’t a planned bank, he got great visualization, square up, release, and follow through. Have definitely seen flukier game winners than that one.

Better jumper than Rose, but not as explosive (still an excellent athlete though). More defensive-minded.

I think he could be the best version of Jrue Holiday.

Yes. And to bank it in from the wing, the shot needs to be two feet long and 8-12 inches off line. That is more of what I am speaking to. They all still count but it is almost unlucky for UCLA that the shot was so far offline it managed to bank in.

Crazy game though. Will be interested to see how much gas Gonzaga has left against Baylor. Having to play two teams that can really grind on you back to back is tough.

The shot was much closer to straight on than it was from the wing.

Regardless, there are lucky shots that go in all through the game, and UCLA had plenty go their way.
