Efes just won game 1 of the Turkish League finals by a score of 111-71, which needless to say is a pretty crazy final score for a 40-minute game, let alone against another top-10 team in Europe. Their Micic/Larkin backcourt ran rampant, scoring 42 points on 19 shots, and Micic in particular is on a completely different level than any other player in Europe right now. Really, really impressive that Garuba and Real Madrid were able to win a couple games by shutting this team down in crunch time. I also feel less bad about Sengun looking lost defensively against them, because they're really making fools of everyone right now.

I would assume Micic could get some NBA looks after playing like this no?

Even our very own team, he'd be a really nice fit.

The Thunder have his draft rights and intend to bring him over next year...I don't know if terms have been agreed to. Micic is still on the upswing of his career, so I like his chances of being a long-term starter in the NBA more than some some other Euroleague stars who tried to make the jump after age 30. Just has the look of a modern combo guard too; not to derail this thread but here are his highlights vs Barca in the Euroleague championship game a few days ago.

Really good stuff for sure. Has size and no questions about athleticism either, i see no reason why he wouldnt be good here too.

And.. of course the Thunder. Him and SGA would be really nice pair.

Yeah, I hate to say it as a Cavs fan, but I think he and SGA are gonna be great for each other. Could have the beginnings of a really interesting team depending on how the draft shakes out for them.

Yeah Poku too. Kind of want to see them pick up tall ballhandlers at each position just to see how it would look like. Its probably the future.

Hell they went out and won three or four games down the stretch they should have sat starters for!

The Cavs lost 13 out of their last 14 games, which was the absolute worst record in the league over that stretch. The fans of every lottery team except the Thunder are pissed their teams didn't lose more games during that period.

He really is toward the top of my list. His size, ball handling, passing, is rare and he has decent form, i think the shooting comes around.

That said, i love these 2 minute videos that are edited to only show his makes, its great, like i am wow, we need him, he almost never misses from three now, lol.

Isn’t it possible and maybe even likely that Barnes’ best position is PF and not SF? 6’9” with a 7’3” wingspan and currently listed at 227. He’s only 19 and has a frame that will allow him to continue to add weight and get stronger. Even looking at his recruiting profile out of high he was listed at 210 so he gained nearly 20 lbs in one season at FSU.

If he’s really a PF that plays similar to Draymond (hopefully shoots better) how does that change how you view him as a potential top 5 pick vs him playing SF?
