2021 NBA Draft Safari

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If they take Green or Suggs early , I want them to go get J.T Thor . I was just watching some of his combine shooting drills, and his shot is pure. I was and I think most are still underselling his value pretty heavily, on most mock drafts. I think combined with his athletic dominance and build along with those shooting chops he has a very high ceiling.

I agree, but for this to work you have to get me an authentic pic of Draymond's ass. Otherwise I'll just be a regular ass-tattoo-on-his-face guy.
Totally get it.

I’m at my weekly limit for ass pic requests from Dray, so let’s see how this thing shakes out before I DM again.

Worst case, we can probably draw up an estimate using a bunch of action shots.

I can very easily get you a pic of his cock; would that help at all?

That was not part of the deal (would obviously be gay).

Interesting breakdown grouping players in positional categories and looking at historical statistical success based on those groupings..

TLDR;

Players to avoid
Kispert
Cam Thomas
Moody
Davion Mitchell

Undervalued players
Tre Mann
Jared Butler
Isaiah Jackson
Miles McBride
Jalen Johnson

I think it's hilarious that he completely dances around Sengun without ever mentioning him :chuckle:

Overall I don't really agree with the methodology, though some of my conclusions are the same. Dividing up prospects into 17 different categories and then staring into a crystal ball to decide which stats are important for which prospects in each category...eh...

That is where I would land. I appreciate the exercise for sure but I would generally stump for how we (you and I) try to whittle guys down. By quantifying categories or impact in to more singular data points. It is ok to have a large firehose of inputs but the output should be just a handful of metrics that you can more easily compare across groups of players.

It certainly becomes easier to assess overall offensive impact, regardless of statistical category.....than it does to try and pick and choose which specific stat actually means something. I also think that is one of the big mistakes teams tend to make.......that player A doesn't do X.......but player B does. Even though player A provides twice the overall impact. Evaluators tend to get in to situations where, over the long haul, they probably make a lot more mistakes trying to latch on to single stat categories.

According to Ben's last tweet it sounds likely Cavs stay at #3 and very possibly procure a 2nd rounder using SRP's they have stockpiled + cash.

In that case which 2nd round talent would the Cavs be most interested...Preston? Boston? McBride? Nix? I know we expect them to acquire a SRP every year but it looks more possible this draft with their stockpile of 2nd round picks in '22.

McBride or Sharife Cooper. Not too intrigued by the others you mentioned.

McBride could last till the 2nd round? I bet a bunch of teams would be all over that.

Neither of those guys will last to the second round. I think Preston or BJ Boston are more realistic possibilities
