Maybe its my fault for not making things clear in this thread. Although, one notes the numbers of S34 members in this thread who most certainly saw my guidance on the Wiggins/NBA Player/COVID issue.

So, when I am done eating dinner I am going to get my briefcase and start bashing in faces.

As such, this is not the place to post about it.

COVID talk is strictly limited to the specific.

We do have something else to talk about. It's just that some people believe they are so much smarter/better informed than the rest of us that they have a moral obligation to impart their knowledge to all of us uneducated Walmart shoppers.

I mean there were clearly quite a few of them considering the NBPA didn't budge on the issue. That means there's at least a fairly significant contingent of players who aren't going to get the Vax.


I also can very easily see players just lying. Particularly the mega stars.

I mean if LeBron James isn't vaccinated are we honestly gonna believe the Lakers wouldn't just lie for him and have their doctor lie for him? Assuming that's who confirms someone is vaccinated? Like....let's not be naive here.

They have to give proof they are vaxxed and the team Dr's themselves are vaxxing allot of the players.

There are allot of issues with vaccines in sports right now, but players lying about their status is not one of them.

For those of you who may be wondering "why can't we discuss Covid outside the politics forum", please be aware that there already are more than 11,000 posts (and counting) in Covid threads in the politics forum. That's a lot of posts. It gives you a small sense of what it would be like if we started having all those discussions in general sports threads, and involving the much greater number of RCF posters as a whole. While many posters may not have any interest in actively seeking out Covid discussions in the politics forum, if Covid was being discussed openly on RCF outside that forum, there'd be a lot more posters who would want to get in their two cents. We'd see massive derailment of ordinary sports discussions with endless Covid debates as more and more people insisted on getting the last word, and not letting views with which they disagree go unchallenged.

Not posted here, but Embiid's comments about Simmons were just fucking brutal. And damn did the Sixers fuck up by not keeping Butler. Butler and Embiid had real chemistry together. And it's clear he still longs for Jimmy. Simmons is also liking tweets that show exactly how much he can be fined for everything he skips.

This gonna be another giant black mark for Rich Paul when it's all said and done.
