I would have preferred watching them be mediocre for a few years then fall off a cliff. Them sucking this year actually helps them. Lets them showcase DAngelo increase his trade value. Get a lotto pick. Then next season run it back with Curry, Klay (Both may decline but their games are made to age), Draymond, Lotto pick, What ever they flip DAngelo for. To me this may end up extending their run. Similar to Spurs tanking in the mid 90s and landing Duncan to pair with Robinson who missed the whole season.

I agree 100%. I am so tired of LeBron and his obvious obsession with staying the "king" of the NBA. Theres so many awesome young players to enjoy, many of them on teams that haven't had much success. Yet the whole league is clouded by LBJ and his presence, because now he has concocted a team with ANOTHER insane level all star next to him, and he gives a totally different effort when hes got those type of players next to him vs when he realizes his team is weaker. And now hes probably goingto win titles for the one franchise that has plenty already, because he forced the one untouchable star in the league in AD to force his way to one particular team.

This league would be way better if we were watching Kawhi, Giannis, Luka etc all duking it out without the presence of another LeBron bully team.

Yeah, the whole way this Laker superteam was concocted was shady as hell. And now it looks exactly how i predicted it would after that first preseason game. Clippers with George are the only team that has a snowballs chance against them. I still put my money on the Lebron/AD combo. People argued with me saying that Lakers team isnt deep. It looks pretty damn deep enough. Nobody in the East will beat them. Basically its the Clippers or Lakers winning the title this year. Barring injury of course. Just when the superteam thing was kind of dying with the crumbling of GS, Lebron resurrected it again. I am just ready to watch the Nba without a Lebron superteam destroying everybody..
Funny thing is, Lakers lose a game, Lakers fans " hes no Kobe". Lakers win a game where Lebron goes nuts, Lakers fans " Lebrons our boy, he da Goat". Laker fans can kiss my ass.

Don’t watch his game then. Lol. You think he should retire or play worse just because you don’t like him or are tired of him. That’s a you problem. No reason you can’t enjoy the talents of all the other guys you mentioned and they too will have an opportunity to prove they can be as great as they are for as LONG as LeBron has.

I don’t care one way or the other if he wins another title but he can play for as long as he wants to. I don’t need him to retire or “ go away” to enjoy the NBA because I love basketball. Not headlines and storylines. I watch shit on HBO and Netflix for storylines

I honestly think if Lebron went to Philly or say the Spurs it wouldnt be as bad. Him playing for the damn Lakers and their fake celebrity fans is nauseating. When i see him in that Lakers jersey it just seems fake. Espn getting what they wanted, first when Lebron went there, then AD going there. Hell they were pushing AD going there for a year. Then i get to watch Lebron and his boys come into the Rock and beat the shit out of the Cavs.....again. im tired of that movie. Him heatchecking from half court. Cavs fans cheering. We need to sign Baron Davis for that game. Some Cavs fans will actually be wearing their old 2007 Lebron jerseys to that game. Ah well, it is what it is.

Yea this is mostly my perspective as well, had he gone to a different team other than the Lakers I probably wouldn't have minded as much. But the Lakers man. The Lakers.

That would be pretty great honestly. I give LeBron credit for being smart, hes found a way to pair himself with top 5 players in the league three different times and that's amazing business savvy. And obviously he is individually great so those pairings become very formidable. But the Lakers not gifting themselves another title just because of their zip code would be pretty awesome, and even more hilarious if it's at the hands of the Clippers.

If i'm pretty much every single player on every team i would start fouling him hard. If they are getting called anyway, might as well make them count. This is getting out of hand.
