Makes me sick to watch LBJ play with effort again when he basically stopped giving a shit the minute we won the title in 2016.

So he wasn't playing with effort in the '17 and '18 playoffs? If GS didn't mega-superteam it his efforts would have led to more titles.

Obviously I was referring to his defensive effort in the regular season.

Miami is pretty good.. I was scratching my head when they landed Butler, but that's looking like a genius move right now.

Yeah was not expecting that to be honest. Half there roster are guys I've barely heard of putting up good numbers

They spent a lot of time trying to keep Nunn a secret. Well secrets now out and they have a steal.

Miami is probably the third best team in the East. They have the best point differential in the league now. Given that they had no high draft picks, and considering that they never tanked, it’s been a hell of a GM job by Pat Riley. And incredible coaching by Spoelstra.

Yeah no kidding. I really like their team this year even despite it being freaking Miami with players like Olynyk and Butler whom both I really don't like. But they look like a well oiled machine with tons of nice young players and great defenders. Exciting team.

Last night the were up 59-18 with 8 mins left in the 2Q against Houston. Like what the fuck.

41 point lead after 16 mins? How does that even happen.

The Miami nightlife is undefeated

That is complete bullshit. He put the team on his back to take us to the Finals in 2017 and 2018. We didn't put a good enough team around him to compete with the Warriors, that's not on him, it's on the front office.

It’s not on anyone on the Cavs. It was on Kevin Durant for joining a 73 win team and the once in NBA history cap spike that allowed it to happen. That Cavs team was good enough to win more than just the one championship it did as long as both LeBron and Kyrie were on the roster. It’s unfortunate that it ran into the most stacked team in NBA history over and over again. And unfortunate that Kyrie bailed.

But I do agree that the revisionist history about LeBron is a bit much. He was awesome in the ‘17 and ‘18 playoffs. In ‘18 in particular the Cavs had no business being in the Finals. But LeBron carried the Cavs on his back to get there. If doing that required some regular season games where he conserved energy then that was still the right decision by him.

And they're about to get Dion back. Watch out, NBA.

I guess ya'll don't remember how miserable a lot of regular season time was despite having an All-NBA guard and an All-star PF and a basically hand-selected roster of role players.

I'm not denying LeBron's greatness and what he did in the playoffs will forever be legendary, of course. It's just annoying to see him communicating and leading on defense in fucking November when he spent 6 months pointing at literally anyone else every time he decided to dog it.

I'd take the 2017 Cavs in 5 over this Lakers team, TBH. So I think it's kind of dumb to say that the Lakers have somehow done a better job building a team around LBJ just because Klutch gifted them Davis and Kawhi leaving Toronto gifted them Green.

Am I the only one that remembers him literally not crossing either 3pt line for full quarters at a time to try and force the FO into a trade?

Then how amped Lebron was when we added Hood and Clarkson.
The first few games with the new guys the cavs looked amazing. Then magically everyone regressed.
Its funny how crowder, hood, and hill now look pretty good playing without lebron.
I feel like lebron knew he was leaving and didnt care about building chemistry and good habits.

When the playoffs came, he put the team on his back because that's all he could do at that point.
Made himself look good in the end. Im sure thats all he cared about.
