Do Not Sell My Personal Information

240 pound 4.52 40 time at combine, can rush the passer, cover TE's and is a dynamic playmaker is the exact type of LB i want to add. I value LB more than our front office, how much do you think he is going to cost?

Going to cost whatever he and the Browns ultimately settle on.

Two years is a very good contract for the Bucs.

Sportstrac has market value at 4 years 46 million for Reddick, would you do that?

about 11.5 mill a year, seems reasonable, Lavonte got 12.5 on a 2 year deal, Lavonte is middle, but probably the better overall player, so seems reasonable.

I would probably pay that, and sign an Edge for about the same and find a good backup safety and corner in case the youngsters arent healthy.

One issue with Hassan Reddick is that he has essentially shifted to EDGE/defensive end. For perspective, he dropped from being targeted in pass defense 56 times in 2019 to 17 last season. He wouldn't be a linebacker in a nickel defense.

He's also on the lighter side of EDGE rushers. He might actually be the smallest.

This times infinity.

I love Reddick. I want literally nothing to do with him for what he likely would get given our future cap situation.

Had he not been shifted to the edge, he very likely would have been out of the league. He was a horrible linebacker.

Clears $12M in cap space.

Mitchell Schwartz also released by KC. Saves $6.255M.

So in one fell swoop the Chiefs clear over $18M in cap space at the expense of both of their starting tackles.
