Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I appreciate that information, Geronimo
Back when I played baseball I don’t think anybody threw a slider

One extra ball out of the strike zone (that 94 mph heater was a ball).. but, Myles walks.. an RBI walk.. tribe gets back in front..

I dont think Straw likes to bat with the bases loaded. His career OPS in that situation is .471.

So, I'm happy with a walk.

please, please take some runs - nope, that wouldnt be fair - oh come on, take one - okay, we'll take one but no more

My baseball heyday was the 50s 60s and 70s
I’m pretty sure that was after electricity, because I used to light cigarettes on the stove burner

Have you folks noticed a great increase in hit by pitch?

We called a slider a nickel curve when I was a kid.

Interestingly, it has been around since the beginning of commercial electricity...at least before WWI.

I thought an electric stove WAS a cigarette lighter.

I can never find my lighter, and haven't had a match in the house for decades.

But I always know where that big lighter is. It never moves.

what'd you guys call it then?

IMO this is a strange time and situation to challenge a call.

Its better to pick your battles when they have the biggest chance to make a difference.

That looked like a medium fly ball coming off the bat.

But its an RBI double off the wall for Miller.

3-1 looks like a good score..let's keep it here, again..
