Do Not Sell My Personal Information
that was mercado's ball..even if he didn't catch it.. the other guys needed to be called off the play to give Oscar a chance at catching it.. There are far too many screwed up OF plays by this team..

Nice play by Straw.. had to go nearly 100 feet to where the ball was going to land.. in his mitt.. that's just a great example of instinctual play by a pro...

this catcher is slower than molasses in january in the yukon.. he takes a half hour to stand up and then double clutches on his weak ass throw.. Every team should see this guy can be run on.. all day long..

Straw gets very good jumps, runs good routes, is able to adjust on the run...and when he makes an initial mistake, he has the speed to overcome it.

IMO Lofton was the best defensive Tribe centerfielder that I have ever seen...and we have had several. Loftons prowess was sheer speed, athleticism, and ability to climb walls and dive without hurting himself. But he didn't have good jumps and often ran bad routes. He just out ran everything.

Straw isn't a world class athlete like Lofton, but he may be just as good defensively.

Amed doubles in another run on a ball that was fair by inches.

Amed slices one down the line that may have been fair by less than a foot.. scores Myles from second ( after the steal ).. 4-1 good guys...

Agree with this.. Lofton was an all time great.. should be a HOF'er..and will be..

Plesac is not shaken at all by the homer.

8. Pudge Rodriguez - 29.6
