2021 Season | Series #40 | Red Sox @ Indians | Aug. 27-29

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Morgan pulled after 46 pitches?

What did I miss?
IIRC correctly the game was delayed at he was already in his warmup routine to start at 1:05 pm..

I have to think he was doing light tossing during the delay to stay loose.
All of that limited how much he would be able to go (once the game started)..
His start basically was the beginning of a bullpen parade since the team is off tomorrow..

We have 12 LOB even though we don't have a single hit...

Harold’s good glove? :celb (13):
Maybe if you ignore his poor routes, limited range, and weak arm.
The actual quote about Harold is...

'A steady bat with a strong glove...'

The guys name is Kyle Edmund, and he writes for Fansided.

Thanks, Mad.

I was switching back and forth between the Tribe and the LLWS, and was afraid that he had hurt himself.

Stephan struck out Xander Bogaerts and Alex Verdugo back-to-back. Verdugo is hitting .351 in July. Unfortunately, Stephan hung one to Martinez and it cost him a run thanks to walking Schwarber.

How does Ty Van Burkleo still have a job?

Houck has a no-hitter through five but has thrown 81 pitches. His season high is 90. The Red Sox announcers are talking about how their bullpen is depleted and they have a huge four-game series with Tampa starting tomorrow. They really need Houck to go deep into this game.

The third time through the order opposing batters are 5-for-11 against Houck. The Sox have not let him go through the order three times but it looks like they will today. The Tribe hitters have been baffled. 81 pitches and not a single base hit.

I mentioned in the pre-game that batters are hitting .146 against Houck once he gets to two strikes. The Indians have done nothing with two strikes today except chase pitches out of the zone.

Somebody in the crowd has a real set of pipes. Thanks for keeping it interesting fella!

You don't have to run fast to be a good leadoff hitter, but you do have to be able to get on base.
he's been scored on in 10 of his last 14 outings

Tying run to the plate with one out as the Sox go to the bullpen. Will we finally get a hit with RISP?

Maybe Ramos could be in Guardians’ 2021 plans?

Zimmer doesn't mind sacrificing his arm, does he?
