you gotta contest that to support Franny's hustleBut isnt.
There's rookies like JC Meija and Eli Morgan, and then there's top 5 organizational rookies like George Valera and Gabriel Arias. We've had 14 rookies this year.
Lord help us, if we see a bunch more next year.
It's too bad Owen Miller hasn't produced.. Or at least yet. Maybe he can still get it going and if not, get out of wayThis team can't generate runs without the long ball. Straw was an attempt to address that but i guess more needs to be done.
Arias isn't a top five prospect. Remember that Miller was the hot prospect earlier this year. There's rookies like JC Meija and Eli Morgan, and then there's top 5 organizational rookies like George Valera and Gabriel Arias.
I officially became a Cal fan tonight. Way to battle.Standing O for Cal.
Deservedly so.
yep - the guys who need to - and are more likely to make contributions next season are the guys who have spent time in Cleveland this season - miler, giminez and the gaggle of pitchers who have been here - mejia, Hentges, sandlin, Morgan, etc - maybe Bradley belongs in that group - tho he's got a lot of Jake Bauer in him - great month when he first came up, not much sinceArias isn't a top five prospect. Remember that Miller was the hot prospect earlier this year.
Valera has played 14 games in AA. We are in trouble if he gets meaningful PT next year.
Counting on multiple prospects to significantly impact a contending team is unreasonable.
He is picking it up.. over the last half dozen to dozen games.. he needs to be in the lineup.. as much as possible..It's too bad Owen Miller hasn't produced.. Or at least yet. Maybe he can still get it going and if not, get out of way
