Lets look at the White Sox and their great offense.

They have given up 4 runs or less 87 times. They are 66-21 (81%)

They have given up more than 4 runs in 60 games. They are 18-42 (30%)

Which has been more important to their success...scoring or run suppression?

Obviously, the FO needs to improve our offense. But it isn't the biggest problem we had this year.

The biggest problem was injuries to our pitching staff, mostly the rotation. And that problem is solved by health.

Next year WE will have the elite pitching.

What guarantees are there of Bieber AND Civale plus Sandlin returning to 100% health? There are no such guarantees. I know your narrative about pitching trumps all. But the offense must be more than just “improved,” which is a really low bar.
