You failed to mention that he struck out once every 3 plate appearances. You also failed to mention the kid is a complete hack defensively at third base as well.

Maybe you are going a bit over the top to be honest, but at the same time, you are right, you cannot just look at one stat and expect it to be the only one that makes or breaks a guy...

Honestly with your name, you should know not to look at only one stat... You have to look at the whole picture and with Jones, you haven't been... Now do I like his strikeout numbers? No, no one exactly does... But the overall picture says, he takes a lot of pitches, actually it's possible he takes too many at times... He had a horrible May... But he had half the SOs in June plus he has an OPS of .875 in June as well... He is always going to be more of a lower BA, but higher OPS since his OBP and SLG will be higher...

Jones I feel like, at the very minimum will be a guy like Chisenhall that takes more walks... A platoon corner OF... If that is his floor, I'd take that in a heartbeat...
