He uses this bullshit to shield himself from deserved criticism and/or make himself interesting. In reality, he just threw mysticism, hustle culture, Judeo-Christian, Norse references, and probably other shit I don’t even recognize all in one post.

These are hyper-competitive people playing within a team concept. Nobody wants that shit after losing. Such a snake oil salesman.

You want to be a competitor in a team sport, do that. You want to deal in mysticism and lead a cult, go do that shit somewhere else.

He really is an enigma. Wondering if there is a precedent. An athlete, coming off a Championship with a presumably great guy image. Heel turn in a matter of months, and he's been doubling down multiple times a year. No way he gets more than a 1 year contract going forward. I'd be very surprised if Cuban throws more at him, unless he believes he can be some Kyrie-whisperer.

Gonna be fun to watch that's for sure. Might be remembered more for his craziness than hitting the game winning shot in Game 7 of the GD NBA Finals.
