2022 American League Central Division Champions

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
True. I think some people are expecting weak little contact hitters like Kwan to be able to match MVP giant-killers like Aaron Judge.

Those people need to get a reality check. There isn't a chance in hell that happens.

It sucks because once you get to the post season against great pitching, the home run ball becomes all the more important.

Changing the game with a single swing of the bat. For us, it takes 3-4 good at bats and that just probably won’t cut it against this Yankees offense.

Hope I’m wrong.

You sure are being overly harsh because Miller certainly does not suck. He's not a bad 2B either so stating that he is bad defensively at a position that he didn't play prior to this season is a bit of a reach.

His power did evaporate, but it seems to be returning. I'd like to see him add 10-15lbs of muscle this offseason. Problem is, where does he fit on this team?
Are you kidding? He's a butcher at 1st base.

We can talk about “magic” all we want, but the truth is that the Twins, White Sox, and injury depleted Rays were not good teams. The Yankees are beatable, the Guardians just don’t have the nerves to get the big hit in the post season. It will be good to get this experience though. The question will be if they can ever get back to the post season. Nothing is given. Ask the 2007 team.

If this is as far as they go, it was a fun ride, though we will lament that bases loaded one out opportunity for a long time.

Dude.

Take a step back from the keyboard a bit.

We get it. Let it breathe baby.

They don’t have the nerve, Bimbo! Choke artists, they are!

There should be 0 mention of "choking", or "shrinking in the moment" or any of that bullshit.

There is literally no outcome at this point that will dampen my mood about the season and how big of a success it was. Choking and shrinking in the moment typically comes with expectations, and this team should have none as far as the fanbase is concerned.

Also, if you think this team is going to lie down and just die without a fight, you haven't been following them during the season...and, well...

Who is saying they choked? GTFO whoever you are. They did miss a golden opportunity though last night. Maybe their best. If anyone disagrees then they didn’t watch the game. They had cole

Instead of this inane conversation, let’s talk substance. Major concern right now is the weather. It’s gonna be storming all day on Thursday, and the Yankees are lobbying to get the game moved to Friday (even though they have no say in this).

If that happens, it really throws off our projected pitching rotation because Bieber wouldn’t be able to go for a potential Game 5 on Monday.

I don’t think they were going to start Bieber in game 5 regardless. They might have used him for a few innings out of the pen, but I’d rather just roll with our actual bullpen arms anyways.
