Looks like Ewers strategy of cashing in hasn’t had a chilling effect on our recruiting. Having the best WR room in the country every year is a blessing.

If Knowles can figure this thing out, we gotta win a national title.

I never really though the Ewers thing would hurt that much, as long as the QBs we do have play well. “You can make a million dollars as a backup QB at OSU” actually seems like a good recruiting pitch.

Edit- just to clarify, I think losing Ewers doesn’t hurt OSU from a recruiting standpoint going forward. Would still have loved to see him eventually start at OSU.

I would have to assume most if not all conferences will within the next 1-2 years. Divisions don't really make any sense when you don't play every team in the division in a single season. No divisions will ensure the best teams are always getting into the conference title game.

I think most conferences might wait until next year so they can adjust scheduling accordingly.

I get that is was illegal and that Tressel as HC had a duty to disclose the info to the NCAA. For the rules of the time, it was against the rules and there was going to be some punishment.

But the outrage over it was way over the top then, and just mind boggling stupid now.

Long before NIL that entire scandal looked fucking stupid as soon as the Sandusky news dropped. The fact that Penn State had wins reinstated while ours remain vacated is too dumb for words.
